“Absolutely loved our experience at Nostalgia Kitchen and Cocktails! We ordered the truffle fries, wings, jerk lamb chops, soul rolls, and oxtail tacos—and every single dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The jerk lamb chops were especially unforgettable, and those oxtail tacos? Game changer. The drinks were just as impressive—highly recommend the lychee martinis, they were definitely a hit at our table. Great vibe, amazing food, and top-notch service. We'll definitely be back!“

“Man, what a sandwich! The menu choices aren’t super out there, but neither are they what you’re expecting. Fun and damn delicious!
The seating is adorable and tidy. The staff was friendly and efficient. Avondale’s lucky to have this place.“
“The absolutely greatest thing about Anansi is the music that can often take you to the best places sonically. I’m a music head so I can’t say enough about that.
Now…layer on an atmosphere that provides an endless amount of things to catch your eye and it feels cozy at the same time 😌.
And if both of those things weren’t enough, the DRINKS!!! 🤩 are delivered wrapped in phenomenal service and craftsmanship.
If you found this gem of a bar, then consider yourself to be one of the lucky ones. Great spot! 10/10 highly recommend lol“

“My first time here and it was a great experience. The owner was kind and patient, entertaining my million questions about the menu. He let me sample the chicken curry, goat curry, & even the fish & eggplant fish dish he made for staff lunch. The curry was delicious but too spicy for my tolerance level. I got the lamb kabab kati roll, garlic teriyaki wings & fried rice (lunch special), & vegetable samosa. Everything was made to order so it's hot and fresh. The kati roll was like a foot long. The flavor wasn't what I'm used to but I still inhaled it so no pics. I was too full to eat the rest. My only complaint is how hot and small the place was so it's not ideal for dine-in. Come with an open mind if you never had Deshi food before.“

“my family and i came friday night and sat in the restaurant around 9:20pm, which was pretty close to the closing time (10pm). luckily, our server was very attentive and friendly! she got us seated right away and was helpful.
the food came out around 9:45pm, but we were able to still eat peacefully and not be rushed. we got the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer; i think it was made with cream cheese and the pita chips were warm!
the salmon was well cooked and flavorful! the broccoli had a somewhat strong garlic taste, but it was still delicious! the mac and cheese was also good, the breadcrumbs gave it a nice touch! my family also enjoyed their dishes!
overall, everything went will and the food tasted good ??️

My plate is leftovers but SEASONED TO PERFECTION (fried fish seasoned, tender broccoli and peppers seasoned, seasoned mash and seasoned steak (get it medium rare you won’t be disappointed and i ate most of my patna plate too it was that good the sides alone ??‼️???? y’all come check him out, a REALLY GOOD TIME if you’re looking for that traditional ATL easside Decatur where it’s greater vibe!
