“Really great service (save one bad experience when they had electrical problems) and yummy food that’s a twist on Florida/Alabama bbq. I love the use of fresh herbs on most of the plates and pickled things, and most everything I’ve tried is full of umami. This is not a place to go obviously if you want a light meal - full fat, full cream - southern comfort food. I do wish they had a few lighter healthier options on the menu for times when you’re with a group but don’t feel like eating something heavy. Biggest complaint would be that there’s too much salt on everything. Overall this is really great restaurant with awesome atmosphere and great wait staff.“

“My friend girl brought me to this restaurant for my birthday. I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. When I left this restaurant I took a picture and posted on Facebook, telling everybody I know about this fabulous time at this place and they got to try it out. The service, and my waiter was a 10 .plus“

“We ate here after seeing Cirque du Soleil nearby with our two kids, 10 & 11. The restaurant was clean, and comfortably decorated. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

“I first ordered from Grubhub and it was so good we made the drive the next day. The beef and chicken and literally everything is amazing. Excellent taste, large portions, and it was delicious. To top it off, the two sweet women that worked up front made this my favorite place to go and take my daughter for amazing food and an atmosphere that feels like home. “Gina is a great server. i walked in an hour before close with three folks from Australia for some BBQ. We had a feast! Gina told us about her faves, gave us a little Pit Boss history, and served us some fantastic ‘cue. I had sliced brisket, some fantastic Brunswick (aka “camp”) stew, and tried several of my friend’s’ sides. Don’t sleep on the collards. I’m really picky about barbecue, but they’re hot barbecue sauce was great. Also, the owner has his own recipe for pepper sauce for the collars, and it was outstanding. I was even impressed with the potato salad and coleslaw, both really good. One friend had some cheesy, creamy mashed potatoes that were fantastic. The baked beans were good, but quite sweet, and frankly, much improved with a dash of the pepper sauce. Portions were ample. Beer selection was really good! I went home with food, and ate it again, another day very happily.
Note: they have moved from their much smaller digs across the street, and I believe the owner now owns this building. It is much improved and really a nice space. I loved it. I would definitely recommend it.“

“My husband and I love to find a good Brisket sliced bbq. While on the job my husband had lunch here and came home (an hour away) bragging about how good it was. Naturally, I’ve got to try it…..it is soooo good! I highly recommend it and will be back. Very welcoming and friendly. Our server was excellent and recommended the Alabama White sauce, I haven’t had any this good since I first tried it and fell in love with it. This place is a must try if you’re in the area. The orders are detailed allowing you to do thing like put sauces that normally come on food on the side. The food comes out pretty fast as well plating is great and flavors on point… best part you were able to pay with same QR code and just leave no waiting for checks“

“I hadn’t been to LadyBird in a long time, but my boss chose to have a going-away surprise party for a coworker there this week. We made no reservations beforehand as our group wasn’t expected to be more than 20, and we all were familiar with the location and knew there’d be plenty of space. Plus, it was 1 pm on a Wednesday, not necessarily prime time for an establishment like ladybird.
I arrived a little before the party to prep and was greeted by Sam. I explained our situation and you would’ve thought Sam was their lead event coordinator (and maybe she is??)! I was so anxious that we’d be a burden, but she was incredibly warm and eager to make sure we had the best time. And we did!
Sam and Ally continuously checked in on us throughout the afternoon, brought waters and bundles of silverware to our table without being asked, and never once did we want for anything.
The food was delicious. The cocktails were INCREDIBLE! They just changed over to their fall menu and we enjoyed everything we ordered. If Sam, Ally, and the other employees who helped us throughout the afternoon are anything to judge ladybird by, then I will be returning soon; whether just for a lunch alone or another party! To Sam, Ally, and the other employees/kitchen staff I didn’t get names of who worked the afternoon of 9/23: THANK Y’ALL FOR MAKING SURE WE HAD AN EASY AFTERNOON! Hospitality at its best, truly. 🫶“

“I could write an article on DAS but I have to keep it brief. I understand how to create irresistible atmospheres, hospitable service and consider myself a foodie as I intermittent fast daily and eat once a day. My meals are important. I have now found not only a place in Atlanta with a fun and inviting ambiance with over the top service but also the absolute best BBQ restaurant in Atlanta, DAS BBQ! Thus far, I have had the BBQ Pork, Ribs, Brisket, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Mac N Cheese, Das Corn, Brunswick Stew, and Banana Pudding and IMHO the most important aspect, which is the meat seasoning and the sauces. No offense to my friends in the biz but DAS, hands down, has the best of each of these items! I live on the southside of ATL and gladly will drive for more DAS BBQ. Praying DAS opens on the southside of Atlanta. I will be your biggest raving fan!“

“First of all, do not eat for at least a week before you eat here. The portions are not only delicious, but HUGE! I had a hot salmon sandwich and there was soooo much salmon on it it was spilling out. My daughter had the beef brisket nachos and has not stopped talking about how much beef brisket was piled on them. “Let me start by saying, I have one word and that is SUPERB!!!!!! After a day of errands, Shauni and I were ready to eat. After executing a search on Yelp, I came across GQ BBQ and we decided to pull up. Y’all know I love me some BBQ. Upon arrival, the location was super to find as it sits on the main road. When pulling into the parking lot there is parking on both sides as well as parking in the back. The outside was clean and vibrant. We knew we were in for a treat as we were able to smell the bbq before even getting to the restaurant. Yes, the power of a good aroma to captivate the sense of smell. 😜 Heading inside, the location kept with the vibrant color on the walls as to draw your eyes to the menu. There are ample seating options as well so if you desire to eat in as we did, there is indoor and outdoor seating. Taking some time to review the menu, I decided on the Rib Dinner with Baked Beans, Collards, and I ordered two orders of cornbread as well and decided to not get the white bread that comes with the meal. To note, the cornbread is an extra charge. Once our order was placed, we took a seat and enjoyed the games that were playing on the televisions. As we were engrossed in conversation, before we knew it, our food was ready. I retrieved my plate and headed to my seat. The moment I opened that plate, my entire life smiled. After being enticed by the aromas, I was now overtaken by the visual presentation of this meal. As I opted for the sauce on the side, I was able to see the ribs in their naked state and capture the full fragrance of seasoned pork without the coverings of sauce. Babeeeeeeeeeee, GQ BBQ showed off with this meal. Let’s talk the food: Ribs: well seasoned, tender, meaty, minimal gristle, the right amount of fat for a nice chew, great portion size as the dish comes with ribs and rib tips. The sauce was an added layer of joy. I opted to mix their Gresham blend with the Sweet and my mouth had a full mouthgasm of robust flavors, joy, and excitement. These ribs were the absolute bomb with or without the sauce. Baked Beans: perfectly cooked, well seasoned, fresh. Collards: well doctored, tender,perfect pairing for the ribs. Cornbread: absolute gold status, perfectly sweet, cakey with a light crumble, buttery, golden baked, worth the extra cost. The cornbread is slightly small, so I would suggest getting three. LoL. Overall, GQ BBQ was an amazing experience. The ribs dominate the meal as they should, however, the sides compliment the ribs very well. The entire meal is a 10/10 and I will be back very soon for another order. Though I live nowhere near GQ BBQ, I will make sure to make my am way back a few times a year to have my soul fed and taste buds tantalized.“

“I found this location on TikTok and decided to try them out for my birthday on 2/15/26, which turned out to be the best decision ever. I had a ladies brunch with 9 of my friends and had an amazing time. When I made my reservation with Kodak, he knew it was my birthday and made sure to give me a birthday drink when I arrived and seated my party and I in an area away from everyone else. The staff were very attentive and our food arrived to the table hot and good! I had the fried catfish and grits which I will definitely recommend. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Mac and cheese was excellent. Rib tips and sausage were good. The only thing I didn’t like was the chicken was too large. It tastes ok, but that isnt my preference. I’d definitely go back.“
