“if you order the 5 finger appetizer, be sure to check your tab. Menu clearly states it comes with "choice of sauce" but tab always includes an extra 75 cents for dipping sauce. Sounds like not much but accuracy and honesty means a lot in the restaurant business“

“Our first experience at their rooftop bar, Perch, was perfection. We went to hear the music, which was wonderful. We ordered the yellow curry and it was delicious. The cocktails were perfectly crafted. The part that elevated it even more, though, was the service. The staff working Perch last night went above and beyond to make our evening special. We can’t wait to return!“

“Quinn's is not flashy but the food is exceptional! The food was wonderful, fresh, delicious. The staff is energetic, friendly and capable. The cooks do an excellent job. Eating here (twice) was honestly one of the highlights of our Savannah visit (and we did a LOT while we were here). When we are next ANYWHERE near Savannah, we'll make a trip to Quinn's for the pleasure of revisiting what feels like an old friend. Quinn, the owner, works just as hard as the rest of the staff. Everyone we saw was constantly moving. Think "whirling dervishes!" On our first visit, we saw a wide variety of customers-business people, tourists, locals, singles, couples, groups. I didn't notice anyone that seemed unhappy and everyone seemed to enjoy the food and the visit. On our second visit, we made it a point to be the first ones in the restaurant (which opens at 0630 but Tripadvisor wouldn't let me put in that time). We arrived probably at 0633 and soon after a steady stream of people (most likely locals) came in to start their day. Although they were constantly on the go, the staff somehow managed to carve out time to talk with us, talk about the business and generally engage. Amazing and such an absolute refreshing touch! We had the definite pleasure of being one of the first customers for one of Quinn's relatives (also an interesting story). She was very new to the electronic order system but Quinn was patient and our server was diligent making sure everything was correct. Quinn is clearly a "hands on" owner. She and her entire staff seem to enjoy what they do and take great pride in providing excellent service and food. Our dining experience was an absolute pleasure. Bottom line: Go to Quinn's - excellent food, exceptional service, fantastic atmosphere and overall a wonderful experience. I hope Quinn's Breakfast and Lunch continues to enjoy phenomenal success!“

“Delightful light lunch spot in historic former apothecary on Bull St. Excellent service complete with a history lesson about the building! I had the chevre salad, my husband had the sesame tuna salad ( generous servings!) , and we had the scones of the day. I’d like to go back to try the afternoon tea!“

“We visited both the Tybee Island Beach Party and Savannah Double Wide Diner locations during our trip, and we were pleased with both. Food was outstanding, lots of unique options! The pancake tacos and crab cake sliders at Beach Party, and the brunch nachos and French toast sandwich at Double Wide will NOT be forgotten! So dang good. Manager and waitress-in-training at Double Wide were so hospitable and friendly. Highly recommend checking out either of these locations.“

“This outdoor seating is to die for! The food is always good. We even like the order at the bar, vs at the table kind of service, but it sometimes it would be nice if there was a little bit more service. It's hard to explain, but sometimes it's like there are almost no employees working ... Like you could be there for a while and not see an employee, but maybe that's because we go during the week around lunchtime.“

“The atmosphere is very dark and sexy located at the bottom of the Alida Hotel. The service was friendly, but sometimes could lack attention. But the food quality surpasses everything, and it is definitely worth a visit. The prices are not that high you would spend just as much money as going to a P.F. Chang's or a Cheesecake Factory. This was a little bit too salty for me but for the appetizer we got CRISPY CALAMARI BANANA PEPPERS, CALABRIAN CHILIS, PARSLEY, CILANTRO, ROSEMARY AIOLI. My main entree was the best burger I have ever had. It was the first time I could eat a burger without it sliding off the bun. From the bun to the sauce to the cheese and pickles everything was perfection. RHETT SMASH BURGER TWO BEEF PATTIES, AMERICAN CHEESE, RED ONION, PICKLES, NORFOLK SAUCE, OLD BAY FRIES. And dessert was just okay for me to much cream not enough banana. BANANA PUDDING WAFERS, VANILLA PUDDING, CREAM“

“Cool place, came here because I’ve heard they have the best burger and fries in Savannah. Their burger is nothing special, smaller patties not smashed and well done.
Their fries on the other hand are the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Perfect in every way.“

“I’m traveling, staying in local hotel. I was in the mood for a burger, but not an average one. I ordered online. It was done exactly when it was supposed to be. And the burger was delicious. I’ll be returning tomorrow to try something else.“

“Very nice cozy nook to get coffee! The coffee and food was good! We weren’t expecting to pay that much for two breakfast sandwiches and two coffees. Basically $22 per person. The outside seating was nice and it was dog friendly! They had plenty of outdoor seating and even a walk-up window! When you enter to order your food it’s kinda like you’re in their kitchen! You can see what everyone’s making and that’s pretty cool! There was also a $1.20 delivery fee. I guess they charge for walking it out to your table.“

“Definitely not a place for a picky eater, but the food was excellent. The collards were off the hook ???!!! I had the French dip flat bread and a side of crisps (flat fries), but tasty. My wife had the deep fried chicken pot pie w/o the pico de gallo. She is use to “old fashioned” pot pie, but she ate outside her comfort zone.“

“Wonderful food and great service with a smile and genuine caring about the customer. Made us feel at home the 1st morning so we went back every day while we were there. “Food was delicious. And I have to give a huge thumbs up to the waitress who was here today (5/24) ...I didn't catch her name but I hope she sees this. She was running the whole place by her self with one cook. All the seats were full, and this girl kept everything going like a well oiled machine, and never even let our tea run out! She is the best. We will visit again soon.“

“We came here for Sunday breakfast/brunch and holy crap! It was so good! The biscuits are worth the wait alone! The decor is so unique, you can feel the history in the walls but it’s also been updated to a modern feel. The menu choices are expansive and may cause stress on which delicious item to pick! I really enjoyed my Bay Street Scramble, and the rest of my party enjoyed their breakfasts too! Service was pretty good, not super fast but it was also super crowded. We got in without a reservation in under 20 minutes which was great! Highly recommend!“

“The Philly is excellent, great flavor like the meat was cooked on the grill, fries crisp, could use some seasoning but they do offer at the condiment station, servers very nice and ask great questions about what you want or don’t want, super fast for quality food“

“I just realized that I never left a review, likely because great places often slip my mind when it comes to sharing feedback, it's usually the bad experiences that prompt a review unfortunately. However, I can't express enough how much I love this local gem. They have a fantastic menu, a friendly and personable staff, and the prices are excellent. The only downside is that you need to know when to go, as the locals often fill the place up, finding a seat can be challenging!“

“The Pirate’s House is a neat spot with a lot of history and character. The building itself is very old and full of charm, and it’s interesting to walk through the different rooms and read about the past. The food was good — classic Southern dishes with generous portions. We tried the fried chicken and shrimp & grits, and both were solid. Service was friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a unique place to eat in Savannah, especially if you enjoy history and want something a little different from a typical restaurant.“
