“We had a wonderful dinner at Fortify! The food and service was excellent, but their gluten free options really set them apart! Can’t wait for another date night here.Dietary restrictions: Very gluten free friendly! I especially enjoyed the fried green tomatoes and clam chowder.“

“Truly amazing. Sometimes the reviews get it just right. Food portions were insane and hella good. Prices were refreshing. Mark my words, I will be back VERY soon. This restaurant is worth a 2 hour drive. Thank you for a killer start to 2024.“

“Absolutely the best food and local 'dive vibe' in Clayton?? Had the Randy Burger, onion rings, sweet potato tots and delicious dessert. Service was excellent. Menu provides plenty of breakfast and lunch options. If you are anywhere near Clayton, you have to stop here. You will LOVE it???“

“After hiking in Tallulah Gorge State Park, we stopped in at Ishy's Grill for lunch. They were pretty darn busy with the Sunday lunch crowd and looked like only three or four servers were hosting the entire restaurant. It did take some time to get seated but once we did, it didn't take too long to get our drinks, place our order and eventually get our meals. I had the Black & Bleu burger which was simply amazing, my son had a kid's cheeseburger and my wife had the loaded baked potato soup which she said was very good as well. For dessert, we shared a fudge brownie with ice cream which was a perfect finish to a delicious lunch. Highly recommend them! Interesting variety of menu items as well, including burgers, hispanic food, pastas, paninis and salads.“

“Was so excited to find this place on my vacation. Reminded me of a BBQ pit I worked at when I was young in the Smokies .The food was amazing with super friendly staff. I wish I had a place like this closer to home as I'd be a regular!Had a juicy hot philly with crispy tater tots and it was so good a few delightful moans might have been heard.“

“The service was quick and friendly. We had the flat-top rolled omelette, breakfast sandwiches, and cinnamon rolls. All were phenomenal! Everything we had including the biscuits and cinnamon rolls were hand made that morning and still warm. Should we ever come back to Clayton the Mountain Grill will be on our places to stop!“
“Vince and team crank out some high end restaurant quality smokehouse meats, Togo meals like chicken parm, pan seared trout, wrapped sandwiches and a surprisingly good wine & cheese case. Plus all the basic sundries of a good ol market without having to make it all the way to Clayton. Don’t sleep on the homemade brownies either.“

“On a girls weekend this was the perfect end to a day that was already an 11… this pushed it to 15! Our server Kyndall was exceptional. He’s so pleasant and engaging and the food was just divine. The dining room was a little noisy, but only because it was a fully packed crowd… a wonderful experience, we’ll return .“

“My burger was so good. So good that I forgot to snap a pic. I ordered the Steinbeck and was oh so happy that I did. The rest of the table ordred the brisket dip, brisket nachos, and a hummus plate. Everything looked great and tasted great, too. Service was good considering how busy they were. Also, not to date myself, but this was the largest gathering of young people I've seen in one place since moving to the area. It's a cool spot, and I will happily return!“

“First time here, has loads of potential to be a great diner, we arrived just at the cut off for breakfast so ate the buffet instead. Not really what we were hoping for, but intended to return to eat breakfast and order from the menu.Service was great and very friendly.“

“Nice lunch, they have definitely gone to COVID-sized portions (which might be a heath benefit with this sort of food, honestly). Expect deliciously greasy fairway food at about 1/3 the price you'd pay at the county fair. Goats on the Roof provides inside and outdoor seating, all family friendly. They let my dog Buddy eat indoors as well. One thing we didn't like is paying up front and being asked for a tip. It's a little intimidating. If you DON'T tip, do they treat you differently? Tips are given after service, not before, so maybe tell them up front your tip plans, but you will be asked before you get your food. It was raining lightly, but the food truck is outside, so plan accordingly.“
