Excellent service. Food was delicious. Speed's is my go to for local seafood dining. Their FRIED SHRIMP dinners are my favorite. Most definitely recommend.
The triggerfish here is awesome....I didn't even know people ate triggerfish.
It's the best seafood restaurant in S.E. Georgia! My wife and I went with a friend for dinner, Sept. 3rd of 23. I had the shrimp and develcrab dinner, my wife had the develcrab casarole, and our friend had the fried oysters. The food was excellent. The service was, by far, the best I've ever had in the area. Speed's Kitchen is a restaurant located in S.E. Georgia, known for its excellent seafood. The shrimp, fried oysters, and deviled crab are particularly praised. The servings are large, so it is recommended not to overorder. Although the air conditioning may not be the best, the key lime pie is a popular dessert at a reasonable price. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and the service is friendly and attentive. It is suggested to bring your own beverages. The restaurant is a worthwhile drive from Savannah, and a visit to America's smallest church along the way is recommended.
