“The food was truly incredible. Every dish had wonderful enticing flavors. And the labor and effort that went into every dish is significant. The duck confit was perfectly cooked, the lobster was phenomenal, and the sausage was amazeballs- I could eat that for consecutive dinners in a row for weeks.“

“The Classic Tavern Burger was my favorite dish. I had not been there for a while. They used to serve it on a leaf of lettuce, but now serve it on chopped lettuce. The chopped lettuce altered the taste in a negative way. I hope they return to serving it the old way.“

“We had a staff dinner and experienced VV’s cooking class. Rina Moreno was our chef providing guidance on the meal’s preparation and techniques to use in the kitchen. A gun experience, wonderful meal and Ms Moreno was a delightful host and guide. Recommend and we will return.“

“I love the new location. One of my fave place to go for breakfast. Couldn't believe they moved; but it's bigger and better and the food is still good. They are they only place that I know that have there own butter to put on their biscuits. Thanks to Ben, our server as well. “I visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening and the restaurant had a brisk clientele. The waitress came to our table immediately and asked for our drink orders and brought them back very quickly. I ordered the above items and in less than 15minutes i had my order and it was hot and seasoned to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a quick wholesome meal, with all taste you remember from growing up.“

“Vegetarian options: Majority of the vegetarian options are sides, the appetizers, and desserts. The Vegetable platter consists of a variety of the sides that they offer. While the platter was filling and did taste delicious, I would not recommend if majority of the party is vegetarian or vegan as they do not have a separate vegetarian/vegan menu (that I am aware of or saw). So if you are vegetarian, your only option will be the platter.

Parking: Complimentary, but mandatory Valet parking where you can “pay what you want”. There is no fixed price for the parking. We offered to park our own car, but was told that was not an option in their parking lot.“

Paired with Caesar salad & mashed potatoes, we were feeling fully satisfied. Billy & Robert made us feel right at home with festive cocktails! “Great atmosphere, food cooked to perfection, boneless Ribeye was best I’ve eaten. GM stopped by to check on us more than once. Waitress Patty was phenomenal. “Where to start? What a delightful evening and meal. The waiter, to start with, was amazingly attentive and kept up with us the entire evening. Also the owner came over and filled us in on the recent history. Liquor license is in now but I don't drink so that was not important. Let me segue to the food. OMG, the mushroom and goat cheese fondue with tomato jam was to die for. It was served in a cast iron skillet with plenty of toast. The sauce was so rich and creamy. To keep this under an hour and a half reading let me say my bride's steak was perfect along with the brussel sprouts and kale. Let me tell you about the pork chop. I like my pork chops to be medium rare if possible and it was perfectly pink inside. I try my best to get that look and I always overcome them. The sweet potato puree asking with the brussel sprouts was outstanding. The portions were very generous and couldn't ask anything better for a Monday night meal. OK, then there was the bread pudding. Oh, Lord, when I tasted the whiskey I almost fell in the floor. So, let me say to the people who has a bad time at the restaurant that they are hitting on all cylinders. I can understand a Karen or two that have nothing better to do than be haters, especially after the opening of the restaurants after COVID. I get it. Why not try to come back and give it another chance. They deserve it and you could use a good meal to chill out.“

They offer unique seasonal options for sauces and I love that they will give you the sauce and dressings on the side and you can administer it yourself. Fell in love with the jerk sauce Summer 2025 and I can’t wait to stop by again to try what’s new for fall 2025. Smart concept, quick service, healthy food, and lastly, I love the fact that they offer MOUTHWASH in the restroom.“
