“We have our favorites spots to eat on Tybee and did not realize this year that many restaurants are closed on Tuesdays. Wind Rose Cafe was open and even though we do not smoke or drink, we went in to get something to eat. The woman who does the cooking took our order and after we asked what she would recommend...we opted for a couple of burgers. Hands down...the BEST burger we've ever had on Tybee. You can tell it was hand-made, very juicy and tasted great. We did not get her name...but our thanks to the woman who made that recommendation and that burger! We will be back.T“
“My wife and I had my birthday lunch here (7th March '24) the food was excellent, very tasty and well presented in a beautiful setting.I can highly recommend this place....we will be back.Michael Dunn CG ...former chef to HM Queen Elizabeth II (16yrs)“
“The portions are generous, and we relished the meal, except for the pricey and lackluster salad. Unfortunately, I found a piece of paper in my bowl, which turned out to be the tag from the spinach used. The salad lacked flavor, so we didn't finish it. The atmosphere is enjoyable, with a fun vibe and pleasant outdoor seating.“
“My wife and I have been in Savannah, GA for the week now and last night was our last night here and we made reservations for this restaurant. It is by far the best eating in the area. I dreamed about the food and was thinking about it when I woke up. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to the area. The picture with the orange on the plate is described here: Seared Scallops, Boiled Peanut Succotash, Red Pepper Sauce, Blackened Green Tomatoes. This was my wife’s meal. Mine was self-explanatory.“
