“The other day I placed an order through DoorDash for some beef tips w/rice, and 2 sides but my order was wrong and DoorDash refused to give me my money back. I called Big Daddy's Soul Food to let them know and Big Daddy himself made sure that I got my food fresh and hot as he had one of his employees deliver it to me. I always order from them when I don't feel like cooking and I am truly grateful for that moment. I just wanted to say thank you for the excellent service you provided!! Great customer service!!!“

“Neighborhood church-run eatery. Soul food at it's best. Absolutely 💯 percent worth the drive out to S.W. Atlanta (they also have an in town location). Line service like a Picadilly. Muslim healthy fare like veggie plate is so filling. Have had that before.. Nonetheless less this time we just had to get the fried catfish. The portions are sizeable and the line servers are so nice and friendly. It's like your Grandma fixin' your plate at the stove. They do have a small outdoor patio too.“

Staff was inviting and we got seated right away although we all couldn’t sit together we were still in the same area we was 24 ppl deep..I wished I could remember the waitress name cause she was amazing! I had the Catfish with Greens and Mac n cheese, A drink it was good and strong & the fried devil eggs with shrimp & the banana foster pudding. It was all delicious definitely will come back when visiting ATL.“

“My first time visiting and nothing but great things to say from the service, in which they make you feel welcome, the wait on food was exactly 15 mins and fresh and hot. I had their wing fish and fries combined the seasoning was on point. The coleslaw was made just right and they ran out of their tartar sauce but the little bit they provided was everything. They gave me history lesson on how Rahim’s came about. If you haven’t tried it you should make your way there now. Don’t expect to receive your food in less than 5 minutes because they’re not fast food. They provided a delicious hot meal. Just to have tried them for the first time on Birthday Today. A friend and some of his friends had visited this business one two occasions and kept talking about how good the food was. I visited this business on 8/6/25 because I was hungry for some vegetables and didn’t want to cook. I purchased two meals…one was a vegetable plate and one plate had vegetables and pork neck bones. The soul food was the best experience I’ve had in some time. The cabbage, macaroni and cheese and lima beans were great. They weren’t salty nor did they have sugar in them. ALL THEY HAD WAS FLAVOR. The broth on the neck bones was not dark and they weren’t salty but were FULL of flavor. The cornbread was NOT sweet and was delicious. And to add to everything else, the portions were great. The food wasn’t good because I was hungry…it was good because they can cook and know how to season the food for flavor. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Apparently this is a new establishment. The staff seemed to be disorganized. The quality of a good server, having been one, is to always scan your tables. Your customers should never have to summon you. If they are not looking at their food or members of their party the server should immediately catch their eye to see if they need something. The servers passed near our table numerous times but did not check to see if we needed something. Otherwise they were very courteous. The food was excellent. It came fast. The ambiance was great. The location next to the Porche track was nice. We will definitely come back another time hoping the service is more efficient.“

The restaurant was busy and she had the composure and aura of a Goddess.Her uniform up to her locs were very professional. Her smile made my day even better. Her name is Iris. Every restaurant needs a manager/owner like her.“

“I think that they have a personal vendetta with me. Every single time I order, I get two or more cranberry sauces. One already comes with it and I pay for an additional one. It never comes the way I pay for it even if I put it in the notes. This time I ordered a large lemonade and they gave me a small one. I don’t know what’s going on, but I have received the cranberry sauce being missing all the time and now I pay for a large lemonade and I got small one. You really need to get your act together because if I can find another soul food place on this side of town. I will start giving them my money. Maybe they want continuously mess up my order every single time for like the past five or six orders“
