“They really put a lot of effort into making sure you're well taken care of over there. The food is excellent, a little pricey, but the portions are VERY generous, so I always feel like I'm getting my money's worth. The service is consistently top-notch, I'm never given a problem or a hard time from the staff, which is difficult to find at quite a few places now, and they genuinely seem happy to see you there. They just upgraded the seating, it's a comfortable, hassle-free dining experience.“

“This place is delicious! Everything we had was soooo delicious. The brisket sliders and strawberry banana pudding made it worth driving from Columbus. We also had the fried green tomatoes, a garden salad with fried chicken and a side of Mac n cheese which were all good as well. We definitely will be swinging back in when we come back to Atalanta.“

“The other day I placed an order through DoorDash for some beef tips w/rice, and 2 sides but my order was wrong and DoorDash refused to give me my money back. I called Big Daddy's Soul Food to let them know and Big Daddy himself made sure that I got my food fresh and hot as he had one of his employees deliver it to me. I always order from them when I don't feel like cooking and I am truly grateful for that moment. I just wanted to say thank you for the excellent service you provided!! Great customer service!!!“

“This was a step up from the typical hotel restaurant. Appetizer and main courses were very well prepared. Shandi was our waitress. She was professional and had a very friendly attitude and smile. The DJ playing in the lobby chose some great tunes that we enjoyed during dinner. I recommend this restaurant.“

“I visit today Sunday 8/4/24. I am very familiar with this establishment. The food is good but today I was met with attitude from the little short female meat server. The vegetable server and cashier was good with customer service. I suppose they all are not Christians or maybe christian without christian attitude. Sometimes you are the only Bible people read. The counting of how many Candi yams you give is crazy for the price you pay for a dinner. I think I might go somewhere else for Sunday dinner.“

“I recently visited this restaurant and had the shrimp and fries—it was absolutely delicious! The shrimp were perfectly seasoned and crispy, and the fries were golden and fresh. The portion was generous, and everything tasted so fresh. The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back soon. “I had a wonderful experience when I ate at this location with family. Staff was inviting and we got seated right away although we all couldn’t sit together we were still in the same area we was 24 ppl deep..I wished I could remember the waitress name cause she was amazing! I had the Catfish with Greens and Mac n cheese, A drink it was good and strong & the fried devil eggs with shrimp & the banana foster pudding. It was all delicious definitely will come back when visiting ATL.“

“I Was Completely Blown Away At This Restaurant. I Was Sat By A Beautiful Host Which Turn Out To Be My Server. Renisha Was Very Knowledgeable About The Ga Craft Beers. She did an amazing job by explaining each item on the menu. I Gave Her The Opportunity Of Ordering My Food and Beer. Oh Boy She Did Not Disappoint. I had the Blackened Catfish with rice and beans and an Orange Still Diva Beer To Drink. It was her two favorite items and I had no complaints! Renisha service was the best service I have had in years. My water cup was never low and if I had more time I would have had another beer. Renisha Was Very Patient With Me Even Though The Restaurant Was Very Busy. She is also a team player and is willing to pick up the slack from others. As A Restaurant Manager Please Give This Server Her Flowers, She Deserves it !“

“I’m starting to suspect that the yummiest food in Atlanta is to be found in spots attached to gas stations🤭 Come Home Eatery is no exception! If I’m in the SWATS early morning then I can count on them for a quick, yummy breakfast w/my choice of bacon, sausage, biscuits, salmon croquettes, grits, and eggs (made to order). Stop by before 11am because they sell out!
Lunch and dinner are both consistently delicious, including the (fall off the bone) BBQ chicken, ribs, (double portion) meatloaf, baked salmon over black beans & corn, cabbage, green beans, and (so d@mn good) macaroni & cheese! As you can see, they don’t skimp on the portions. All made with love. All available for meal prep because Tonya caters too!
If you’re in the SWATS & want something different yet delicious without breaking the bank & want to support a Black owned & operated business then stop by for a plate!

“Apparently this is a new establishment. The staff seemed to be disorganized. The quality of a good server, having been one, is to always scan your tables. Your customers should never have to summon you. If they are not looking at their food or members of their party the server should immediately catch their eye to see if they need something. The servers passed near our table numerous times but did not check to see if we needed something. Otherwise they were very courteous. The food was excellent. It came fast. The ambiance was great. The location next to the Porche track was nice. We will definitely come back another time hoping the service is more efficient.“

“I got a catering order of ribs with sauce on the side. They were absolutely delicious! I picked them up the day before the family event. Even after heating them up, they were just as fresh and delicious ! I would give them a ten ! The only problem I had and it was my fault I should have gotten my own personal small pan! I highly recommend them!“

“This place has excellent food as well as customer service. The stay crowded from open to close, so it's best to call in your order. They keep this facility very clean and although they are high volume, they cook to order and they move fast. Inside wait time average is ten minutes long. They are very reasonable and have some great combo prices. I always get the Chicken Philly with the the 5 Wings. O rate them a 5 out of 5.“

“I get takeout from This Is It at least twice a week. The food selections are varied & outstanding but we especially love the collards. The waitstaff is exceptional; always greeting me with a smile and even remembering what I usually order. “I live in Ohio but have family in Georgia. One of the first places I go is the Green Manor. The food is absolutely fantastic, the staff is amazing and the building is just beautiful. An all around great experience. One of my favorite places in Georgia.“
