“I live in Ohio but have family in Georgia. One of the first places I go is the Green Manor. The food is absolutely fantastic, the staff is amazing and the building is just beautiful. An all around great experience. One of my favorite places in Georgia.“

“They really put a lot of effort into making sure you're well taken care of over there. The food is excellent, a little pricey, but the portions are VERY generous, so I always feel like I'm getting my money's worth. The service is consistently top-notch, I'm never given a problem or a hard time from the staff, which is difficult to find at quite a few places now, and they genuinely seem happy to see you there. They just upgraded the seating, it's a comfortable, hassle-free dining experience.“

“I don’t know why we haven’t been here sooner! Natalie Bianca is in our backyard yet we always choose to go downtown or midtown for food. Natalie Bianca is a gem in Cascade Heights. The parking isn’t the best but the vibes, food, and service make up for it. The staff seem to flow and work well together, the drinks are inventive, and the brunch is phenomenal. We will definitely be back for dinner service.

“This place is delicious! Everything we had was soooo delicious. The brisket sliders and strawberry banana pudding made it worth driving from Columbus. We also had the fried green tomatoes, a garden salad with fried chicken and a side of Mac n cheese which were all good as well. We definitely will be swinging back in when we come back to Atalanta.“

“The other day I placed an order through DoorDash for some beef tips w/rice, and 2 sides but my order was wrong and DoorDash refused to give me my money back. I called Big Daddy's Soul Food to let them know and Big Daddy himself made sure that I got my food fresh and hot as he had one of his employees deliver it to me. She did an amazing job by explaining each item on the menu. I Gave Her The Opportunity Of Ordering My Food and Beer. Oh Boy She Did Not Disappoint. I had the Blackened Catfish with rice and beans and an Orange Still Diva Beer To Drink. It was her two favorite items and I had no complaints! Renisha service was the best service I have had in years. My water cup was never low and if I had more time I would have had another beer. Renisha Was Very Patient With Me Even Though The Restaurant Was Very Busy. She is also a team player and is willing to pick up the slack from others. Staff was inviting and we got seated right away although we all couldn’t sit together we were still in the same area we was 24 ppl deep..I wished I could remember the waitress name cause she was amazing! If I’m in the SWATS early morning then I can count on them for a quick, yummy breakfast w/my choice of bacon, sausage, biscuits, salmon croquettes, grits, and eggs (made to order). Stop by before 11am because they sell out!

Lunch and dinner are both consistently delicious, including the (fall off the bone) BBQ chicken, ribs, (double portion) meatloaf, baked salmon over black beans & corn, cabbage, green beans, and (so d@mn good) macaroni & cheese! As you can see, they don’t skimp on the portions. All made with love. All available for meal prep because Tonya caters too!

“Apparently this is a new establishment. The staff seemed to be disorganized. The quality of a good server, having been one, is to always scan your tables. Your customers should never have to summon you. If they are not looking at their food or members of their party the server should immediately catch their eye to see if they need something. The servers passed near our table numerous times but did not check to see if we needed something. Otherwise they were very courteous. The food was excellent. It came fast. The ambiance was great. The location next to the Porche track was nice. We will definitely come back another time hoping the service is more efficient.“

For over 15 years, Annie Laura’s Kitchen has been a consistent go-to for me, and with good reason—the food is, more often than not, exceptional and absolutely finger-licking good. Their Southern comfort dishes carry a depth of flavor that keeps me coming back time and again.

Out of well over a hundred visits, I can recall only three occasions where the food fell short: twice, the turkey wings arrived undercooked, with meat still visibly red and inedible; once, the macaroni and cheese carried the unmistakable tang of spoiled milk. Those rare missteps, however, have never been enough to deter me from returning. In my book, 3 off-days out of 100 is a pretty remarkable track record.

The staff, particularly the young men and women taking orders outside, deserve special mention. Whether in the blazing summer heat or under a drizzle of rain, their attitudes remain warm, professional, and welcoming—a standard of service that deserves recognition.

Another point in Annie Laura’s favor is its pricing. Whether you’re dining solo or feeding a family of six, the portions are generous, and the value is undeniable.

That said, my overall rating of 4 stars reflects one lingering issue: the atmosphere. Both the exterior and interior are in dire need of an upgrade to match the quality of the food. The interior has long been closed for dine-in service, and reopening it could not only enhance the dining experience but also help alleviate the notoriously long drive-thru wait times—especially on Sundays.

“My husband and I went in This is it for dessert only today. We ended up getting meals mine was the smothered Pork chops over rice, cabbages, and Mac and cheese. My husband was meatloaf, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes with a banana pudding and strawberry cake. The food did not disappoint. Whomever cook the food did a wonderful job. The peach drink as well was a great refreshment. The staff was very kind and nice. I would give this place a 10/10 for the food, the atmosphere, the staff, and cleanliness. I will return.“
