“My Son treated me to a wonderful Mothers Day treat at The Independent! We began with Aperol spritzs from the bar, which were wonderful. We then ordered the oysters on the half shell and the devilled eggs with fried oyster. Both were excellent. Then we had the blackened flounder with andouille sausage and lump crab pileau with lemon beurre monte. The was also fried okra on the side. It was all phenomenal! To finish we had the Apple Pandowdy with vanilla ice cream. Perfect finish to a wonderful meal!”

“Mary is always professional, very polite, & efficient. It seems every time we order food where I work, there is always a mix-up somehow. Mary was understanding & provided a quick reasonable solution. All while handling other things simultaneously behind the counter. I’ve known Mary for many years & she is a fun caring person. I eat there once a week & she is always happy to be there & welcoming & helping customers.”

“As full time sailors on our catamaran we look forward to a meal on land occasionally. This restaurant was recommended and it did not disappoint. The location, food, atmosphere, service and price was A+. Two meals, (one hamburger and one Mahi), three drinks and dessert was under $100. Amy was our server and was pleasant and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant and Amy as your server.”

“Absolutely loved my experience at Positively Primeval Cocktail Company! The drinks were amazing, the duck dumplings were absolutely to die for, and the entire vibe of the place is incredible. The aesthetic inside is unique, stylish, and creates such a fun atmosphere. The bartender was super sweet, attentive, and helpful with recommendations, which made the experience even better. Between the great cocktails, delicious food, and awesome ambiance, this place is a gem. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend checking it out!”

“Wow, I order the teriyaki and country Sweet Chicken wings and a hot dog and fries and deep fried Oreos. Don't judge me lol. But the food was really awesome. Till I got down to the deep fried Oreos and oh my God didn't know if I wanted to shout, cry,or slap someone's momma. It was seriously good. “Nice brewery in Georgetown, plenty of parking on the street or in the lot. Good beer selection for a small brewery. Very friendly environment. Located just of the main street in Georgetown. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you're a craft beer fan.”

“My first time being at the Tavern in Georgetown on Front Street and I absolutely love it. The food was amazing and the owner was friendly, attentive and so sweet "Jackie Hubschman". If you are ever in Georgetown please stop by and give her a try. 🔥🥂😋”

“Nice small lodge with some friendly people. ( of course) Met a guy named david that is a local history buff, and he pointed me to sights to see.
They let me park my RV. In the field behind the lodge, no hookups of any kind but a legal place to park.”

“Hands down the best local dive bar I’ve been to. Reasonably priced drinks, gator bites are the t!ts, and great staff will make you want to come back. I’ve never felt this welcome in my own hometown bar. Beautiful staff.”

“(wrote this review on Google as well) Eve's is what I call local food and service you DO write home about. I'll say, back home, there's no establishments like her restaurant. Loved the place so much we couldn't stop talking and thinking about it after the first visit. We came back a 2nd time the same week before I had to fly back home. Tried about half the menu from the j*** chicken, curry goat, curry oxtail, and ribs. Don't forget about the sides! Collard greens, candied yams, plaintains, potato salad, chicken rice, corn bread. Ginger tea, lemonade. Pound cake. Peach cobbler. D E L I C I O U S. The portions were all just right for the price and the food is really packing with flavor. Favorites are definitely the j*** chicken, chicken rice, and plaintains, corn bread was the perfect type of sweet! To really top it off, we really adored Eve and her staff. Absolutely friendly and kind folks!!! If I could, I'd order her food to get shipped to me in my state. Thank you Eve and staff for such an incredible experience and we look forward to coming back again when I'm in town. If you're someone Googling this restaurant debating to come in, you should really give them a try!!!”

“Visited Georgetown for 2 days and ate at Rollin Locals 3 times. Made me soo happy!! Poke bowl spicy tuna roll, seaweed and regular salad. Such quality . Great atmosphere and even hit half price Wednesday. Just go.”

“My daughter decided that she wanted a sweet potato pie instead of cake for her birthday. I wound up being under the weather and couldn’t make it for her. We stopped by Aunny’s on our way to Pawley’s after calling and confirming that they had a whole pie and would sell it to us. It was a delicious pie and my daughter was very happy. Thank you Aunny’s for saving the day!”

“I love this place and have loved it since it opened. Best Japanese Hibachi around. One of the best things about moving back to the area is having this place nearby. For ten years of living far away, every time I passed through Georgetown, I had to stop here to eat. This restaurant will always hold a special place in my heart and stomach. My favorites are the filet mignon and fried rice. Staff is always very friendly and the food is always delicious. Love this place so much.”

“I've only been to eat here once, and the food was great! Called tonight to get food, no answer. Online says 11-9. On their door it says 11-3. Would be great it the hours were corrected.”

“Very nice people, customer service is indeed great .. they may not show so many facial expressions but I feel the energy and it's to serve our people... Me and my kids went we did not have enough for everyone to get a drink and they offered a free one .. to me that's great because I was not expecting it .. food is always hot and fresh... They even give plates for sharing amongst families... They are a family oriented place . Enjoy stay kind”
