“I only found out about Wai Kai a month ago after a friend bought a condo nearby. Since that time, my family and I have been back numerous times to eat at all of their restaurants and attend their Farmer's market. All of the food is outstanding which is why we even went back twice in one day to eat at 2 of their restaurants. They have amazing staff from their manager, Keith, their cooks, and their waiters and waitresses. This place is a hidden gem because it's a family friendly place that has the atmosphere of Waikiki without the crime or crowds. Both kids and adults can come and have a great time whether it's doing a water sport, eating in one of their excellent restaurants, or relaxing on their lawn during the Farmer's market where they have a wide variety of food and local products to choose from.“

“The yum chicken is the best chicken I've ever had in my life ! We come to Hawaii every year to visit family, and we are so glad that we came across Chicken and Brisket, it has become a staple for us to visit when we are on the island. the whole menu is amazing but the yum chicken is my personal favorite . My salads were ready quickly which was great because our lunch break was only 30 minutes. Today the lettuce was fresh and the salads were delicious! Definitely plan to return. “Very warm and inviting atmosphere and family friendly. All of the performers and staff were extremely kind and helpful and the food was excellent!
A stand out moment: They invited couples to the front to dance, but our toddler was getting wiggles out in the grassy area so my husband and I danced together in the back of the venue. Someone in the crew noticed and ran all the way to the back to give us a flower bouquet with all the other couples. We were both blown away that they noticed us dancing in the back and took the time to give us flowers as well.“

“I don’t expect much when I eat at a food court. A lot of the old places closed down at this location and new restaurants popped up like this one. We ordered the Tonkatsu curry plate and a spicy ahi don. If you check in on yelp, you get free 6 piece chicken karaage. Customer service was excellent and the food came out fast. Tonkatsu was super crunchy and went well with the curry. The spicy ahi was perfectly seasoned on a bed of lettuce. The sushi rice came on the side. The chicken karaage was crunchy and tasty too. I’ll definitely be back for more.“

“Good chicken, Just ordered a whole chicken plate, Had them chop the chicken in pieces which cost a $1 more. BUT!! After I left to my office to eat I notice my chicken wasn’t hot. Literally within 5mins of leaving but my food ain’t hot. Y’all literally just pulled the chicken out the fridge and warmed it up. I literally thought I was paying for a HOT PLATE.“

“I went to several great poke places during my trip to Hawaii, and this one was by far the best. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious. They say they don't use frozen fish, so the tuna sashimi was so fresh and the seasoning was perfect, making it the best. Even my 11-year-old son enjoyed it very much!
The owner, Tommy, was very pleasant and friendly.
I was so sad that I visited on the last day. I definitely recommend it.“

“Ruby Tuesday in the Moanaloa shopping center is fantastic. A lot of military members and their families eat there. They are responsive to large groups who gather to eat as well as have short meetings during their time there. And, use of their robots to carry the meals to the table saves the wait staff's backs!“

“Locomoco drive inn is now permanently closed. Last day was Aug 29, 2025. They are being replaced by Pepper Lunch (Dec 2025). The owner was really heartbroken because he said he's been here for 20 years. They moved near Safeway Kapahulu: please support them there. They make amazing garlic ahi, salt n pepper mochiko chicken, and a lot more variety of Hawaii comfort food.“

“Everything was great beginning with our server Kehau. She took the time to explain menu items that favorite what we wanted. The food prices were a lot less than what were accustomed too during our travels. The food portions and experiences were excellent as well. Everyone that we came in contact with, including other customers, were warm and friendly. A great place that we will visit when we return and recommend to our friends.

Parking: The parking was sufficient for a place this size.
