“First time here for this local resident! I've driven past this intersection for decades and have no idea when this business popped up. Great location, parking, outdoor seating (kid and dog friendly), and a solid, healthy menu. I had the vegetarian burrito with tofu, and scarfed it down before remembering to take a picture. That's how good it was. A trickier proposition when it's raining, but that's also when the flies leave the area.“

“So it’s like this… Kua ‘Aina Sandwich Shop has got to be the best burger for the job if you’re hungry amidst shopping for all the great gift ideas!! Bacon burger with all the fixings and also with the green chili Tabasco is mayjah and it scratches the itch every time. Really good as a medium rare burger. So juicy!! One of my favs!! Kudos!!“

“Nice selection of swimsuits and great customer service. Their bikinis are better quality and offer more support for larger-chested women than the San Lorenzo store. The Cove also has nice jewelry and home goods. Beware that Google Maps may take you to the wrong place, so it's a good idea to input an address for the taco truck next door.“

“My husband took me here for valentines day. It was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed a bottle of Cambria wine on the patio during the sunset. The music they played was some of our favorites and brought back lots of feel-good memories. The food was fantastic and we shared a couple appetizers. We shared the garlic bread, luau crap dip, and ahi spring rolls. My husband ordered the prime rib and I ordered the calamari pappardelle. Everything was delicious and perfectly made. I can't wait to come back!“

“We had a lovely HH experience at Uncle Bo's! We got in right in time for Happy Hour, which runs every day from 2-6pm.
Within HH, we got:
-(Many) Kirin Drafts - $6 each
-Bartender's Cocktails - $8 each
-Kalua Pig Slider (on taro bun) - $5
Everything was delicious, and we also partook in bingo night! Nice local-and-tourist-friendly vibe, with great service. Would definitely recommend.“

“Ate here for the first time two years ago and it was literally my first time ever having pad Thai and it changed me. We ate the food at sunset beach across the street and it was a core memory. Coming back two years later made me nervous it wouldn’t live up to the hype we had set but alas, it was even better than we remembered. Absolutely worth getting, but let Thai food at sunset beach be your new core memory!“

“My acai bowl was really good! Good portion for your price (for Hawaii). I loved: the fruit and texture. Didn’t love as much: the granola, how light the acai was. It also took forever to get my acai bowl, but they had quite a lot of orders and were working the whole time. The two girls working were very nice to me, and made me feel welcome!“

“Cool place to sit and eat especially after catching the sunset at Shark's Cove across the street. Wake up this special of the day which was Marlin tacos, the fish was a touch overdone but not too bad. The sauce they put on top really set off the taco“
