“Kahuku Farms is a great place to make a stop for lunch if you’re driving along the North Shore of Ohau. They have a farm-to-table café right by the entrance offering many fresh vegetarian options, and plenty of covered outdoor seating for you to enjoy some fresh air looking out onto the farm while you eat. The food here was very fresh and flavorful.Right beside the food Kiosk is a little gift shop selling locally made bath and body, products, chocolate, and pantry items.The farm is open Thursdays to Mondays from 11 am to 4 pm (closed Tuesday and Wednesday), and they offer paid tours of the farm every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.There’s free parking right when you drive in, along with a washroom, and handwashing station.“

“If you are around the North Shore and Kahuku then you have got to try Rys poke shack. Who knew poke and nachos would have been an amazing combo. The fish is fresh, flavorful, and the portions are huge. I would highly recommend the ahi! The poke bowls are also amazing. Skip the garlic shrimp across the lot and get Rys.FoodEverything about the poke nachos was excellent. The fish was fresh and the chips were crisp. Plenty of poke marinades to choose from and the shoyu was super good. The crab salad is also very very good with the nachos. They drizzle on the sauces and it just makes everything so much better.AtmosphereThe vibes are casual and laidback. You get to walk up to a food truck and then eat around there or take the food to go. All the seating is outside and there is some shade around.PricingPrices are average for poke compared to other spots on the island. I think the food quality and quantity is very worth the price point.ServiceThe staff was super friendly and helpful in answering questions.OtherThere is a parking lot around that is shared by all the other food trucks and restaurants around. “The ice isn't as fine and fluffy as Island Vintage or Lahaina, but if you are in the mood and in the North Shore this is pretty good! The flavors are a little artificial tasting, so maybe stay away from the Lime and Cherry. Definitely get Snow Cap (condensed milk) and the little mochi are better than the big mochi from Island Vintage.“
