“Amazing service and delicious island flavours awaited us at Our Founding Farmers. We were offered multiple yummy samples - lemon was wowza, as was ginger, matcha and M&M! We enjoyed double scoop combos of rocky road (best I ever had!), strawberry, lemon, mint chip and M&M. Super friendly staff serving ice cream made on site in cups to catch the drips! Incredible flavours, a great name and real ingredients make this spot a must stop on your trip to North Kohala. A great treat after hiking up from Pololu Valley. We will be adding Our Founding Farmers to our annual adventures in Hāwī and Kapa’au!

“This place is amazing!! We were super bummed after driving an hour to hike Pololu Valley, to find that it was closed for cleaning. We stopped here on our drive back for lunch. It made the trip so worth it. Just what we needed after a huge disappointment. The poke nachos, fruit plate, chicken hekka, baked papaya, homemade brownies and banana bread were all mouth watering delicious. The service was phenomenal and the live music played in such a beautiful setting while eating was an added bonus. Thanks for lifting our spirits!“
