“What a fantastic little place!! It's a little out of the way and tucked into a small space, but don't miss it!
The space is fantastic and well designed. Lots of colors and very bright. I felt great just being in there!!
The staff was amazing (I think it was the person that owned it). She was super nice, and very helpful! She was excited about her product and it showed. She asked me where we were from and hand a nice quick chat.
They explained that all the syrups were made by them and were natural. There was lots of fresh fruit included. It was wonderful and not overly sweet.
Price was pretty typical for the higher end shaved ice, but a good size and well worth it in my opinion.
Check this place out, I think you'll be glad you did! Thanks for the tasty treats!“

“I came to Hawaii and had a lot of food. This was the only thing I’m reviewing so far because it was delicious and the price was awesome and the people were so nice. The drinks here may have been better priced than even where I’m from in Ohio. Highly recommend the brown sugar milk tea, and the strawberry sago. AND they’re open late, perfect for drinks after the beach“

“I would HIGHLY recommend Asato Family Shop! They are so hospitable and their ice cream is perfectly sweetened and flavored. They offer superb quality with the warmest Aloha spirit you will find. Their ice cream is delicately light and rich. They offer unique flavors from Hawai’i. I’m so glad I found this truly hidden local gem! MAHALO NUI!!!“

“Simply the best shave ice I have ever tried. The natural syrups taste like fruit and not too sweet. The pineapple tastes like frozen crushed pineapple.. amazing! Made with love, with layers of shave ice and syrup, so no lumps of plain ice.“

“Best shave ice we found on Oahu. We walked from the zoo end every night just for Lahaina shave ice. Made the mistake of trying a different place one night and quickly learned our lesson. Hands down the only place to go“

“This has to be the best thing Kith has ever come up with, ice cream and cereal together! Hands down, it is still the best ice cream I have ever had in my life. I first tried it in NYC and ever since I make it a point to visit Kith Treats whenever I am in a state that has one. It is always on my itinerary.
In this photo I tried all of Hawaii’s exclusive flavors and my favorite has to be the Lihing! You have to try it yourself. Yes it is $10 a swirl but honestly I would pay that every single time because it is just that good.“

“I was craving some souffle pancakes and did a google search and found this little café. I love coconut and they have Coconut Creme Bruleé souffle pancakes on their menu and I knew I wanted to have them. I thought they were great, not too sweet which was perfect. It is a tiny little café, the young ladies tending were sweet and kind. I would definitely recommend if you want to have something light for brunch. They also have teas, smoothies and some cakes“

“Was just in there today and got a couple sweet treats. The young lady that was there helped me decide what I wanted and explained to me what things were! I wouldn’t have been able to do it without her. Then possibly the owner, another very nice lady, gave us 2 free sweets and took our picture in front of a beautiful wall. 10/10 experience and highly recommend stopping in!“

“I bought Obanyaki today at Times Supermarket in Aiea. Some of the Obanyaki looked like it wasn’t baked long enough. Especially the vanilla custard. Please toasted more darker.“

“I listened to a local! Tried the snow cone with ice cream in the center and sweetened condensed milk on top. I got strawberry, coconut and watermelon for flavoring. It was so good! My only complaint is that my paper bowl was getting mushy-falling apart before I was done eating it.“

“We've been a few times at this place and have always gotten the boba, which has been good every time! When we tried other drinks, they tend to be too sweet for our tastes. It's really just a good place to sit in AC as long as you can find seating.“

“This little hole in the wall ice shop is a can’t miss. At about $10 a cup, it ain’t cheap. But it was the best ice cream I ever tasted. My daughter got the mango/lychee, which was bursting with lychee flavor because they use fresh fruit. More of a gelato in texture but so damn good. My son got the strawberry/banana ice cream and wow. It was the perfect blend of fruit and cream. Small batch and quality ingredients make this little gem the best ice cream shop on the planet.“

“This is a must visit for shaved ice and here’s why. There’s usually three sweet ladies that work there and they’re very friendly. I would recommend the Lilikoi mango snow ice. It starts with a big mound of pineapple ice cream although you can get vanilla I recommend the pineapple. Then it’s covered with shaved ice and mango and lilikoi syrup flavors and topped with condensed milk and fruit on the side. It’s a big one so you can eat it by yourself and be really full or share it with another person. I’ve had shaved ice all through Waikiki and this is always my go to.“

“Loved my Matcha frappe float! Some might say I'm a performative male for enjoying Matcha drinks.
My response is you need to try it before hating. Matcha is absolutely amazing, and this place lived up to my expectations.
Matcha frappe float is matcha ice cream floating on top of a matcha drink.“

“On the recommendation of a friend we stopped here for a little treat. We got an Oreo bingsu and the Lotus craffle. The bingsu was much larger than we expected and pretty good. I think I would have like a fruit flavored one but the ten year old picked the flavor :)
BUT! The Lotus was possibly in my top ten favorite treats ever. The texture had a slight crisp and then chewy. The cream was light and the perfect flavor.complimented by the honey and lotus cookies. I’ll go back for it next time I’m here.“

“If you’re looking for an ube fix, Nana’s Tea has an ube soft serve swirl will do you right. Aside from the creamy soft serve, they add a small dollop of fresh ube halaya and a couple of mochi ball. Will come back to try the other flavors!“
