Chinese cuisine in Hawaii Kai, Honolulu... My friend from Northern California bought a condo in Hawaii Kai, so I helped her move in and set up a bit. She wanted to treat me to lunch. Her husband was sick, so we wanted him to eat soup. He chose Chinese cuisine over pho - although we almost went Hana Sushi. I had never heard of Phoenix Chinese Cuisine before this. Lovely family-owned place- the owners were sweet and the restaurant seems to have quite a following of regulars. The Peking duck (order the steamed buns alongside), garlic ong choy, and scallop dishes were standouts.

Great food can get take out or eat in, the second you walk in it feels like a hole in the wall. And it is! The food has always been great and a convenient location. If you eat in you get free tea. The soup is great and the chow fun! And good prices for the food. Would recommend for takeout or even for lunch!
