First time at this restaurant and I'm a FAN! My friend and I were talking story in the parking lot of Kamehameha Shopping Center one Sunday evening and decided to have dinner together. We checked out a few other restaurants in this shopping center - one was too crowded, the other had a weird smell, so my friend (who lives in the area) suggested Sumo Ramen. Dine in here a few times and this place is consistent. There's really nothing to complain about the times I've eaten here. We always had the same server every time. She's a nice but quiet lady. She always take our kids in to consideration. And I've never had to ask to fill my water. The food is always consistent. If you like curry and ramen then this is definitely the place for you. I will never go back there!!!! The Mapu Tofu was not what I expected. It was a reddish gelatinous and very weird taste. Usually, Mapu Tofu is curry with tofu and seasoning. This was nowhere close to it. Service was not so good also. The ambiance was a regular takeout place.
