Starbucks in Kahului

“Visited this Starbucks without much research into the type of Starbucks it is (lesson learned). Not a bad location and actually a pleasant visit with friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. There are no chairs or seats in this Starbucks (perhaps the neighborhood). It is very small inside and difficult to determine who is waiting in line and have already been helped. The empty star is only based on the fact that there is no indoor seating.

There is a large storage room where they may have been seats at one time. There are two small tables with some seats just outside this location but were occupied by a paying customer and a gentleman who was there (appearing homeless?).
Well stocked location with condiments and merchandise for sale. I wanted only a Maui Discovery cup which is what I ended up getting. Free wifi here as well as in the shopping center.
I did not explore the shopping center much but there may be other seating available throughout.
Plenty of parking as this is at a mall and located at the front entrance of the mall.
There is no drive thru at this location and seemed fully staffed at the time of my visit.“

“I love Starbucks. Even at LAX, where the line is longer than the length of an airplane (Lol!!! Umm, not). Their coffee products are still top-shelf quality, and the service was excellent even though the stress level was there. My husband, and I received our coffee within five minutes of ordering. That was an absolute record, especially for one of the busiest Starbucks in California.“

“This store is very convenient because it's location and the drive thru. However, the experience of going inside the store is never completely satisfying. It feels a little dirty. Maybe the tables and chairs need to be changed, or just pay more attention to the general cleanliness of the space to make it a 5 star ⭐ Starbucks“

“Stopped here after completing the scenic back-road drive via the Nakalele Blowhole. The coffee quality was excellent and exactly what we needed after a long drive around the island. The store was clean and service was efficient. The only area for improvement would be a warmer, more energetic welcome from the staff, which would make the experience even better. Overall, a good stop for a quality coffee break while exploring Maui.“

“Friendly fast coffees served up with spacious interior to drink your beverage. Don’t forget to purchase some Starbucks gift cards with Hawaiian designs to take back with you for souvenirs of Hawaii that last! In past years they had a hula girl image. This year it’s the state of Hawaii with a bird and a rainbow !“

“Lately, I’ve been visiting Starbucks frequently to unwind from the stress of studying. It’s a relaxing place, and even though I don’t spend a long time there, it feels like a special gift I give myself.

Last week, after a stressful day at work, I stopped in to focus on my tasks. I’m very sensitive to caffeine, especially in the late evening, so I usually avoid coffee. However, I made a mistake and wanted to try a new menu item, which led to a mix-up with my order. When my drink came out, I was a bit flustered.

The staff member noticed my reaction and kindly asked, “How can I help you?” I apologized for the mix-up and explained that I thought I had ordered a Green Tea fappuccino. Without hesitation, she said she'd make a new one for me!

It’s not about the money spent, but the quality of service was truly touching. Her small act of consideration uplifted my mood. While it’s the same Starbucks chain, this kind of excellent service enhances the brand's value. I believe that if you can receive such pleasant service for the same price, it makes the experience even better!“

“JUST had an amazing service experience here. I had mobile ordered a drink that they were out of, so they offered me an alternative that I actually did not end up enjoying. The staff were so incredibly accommodating and willing to make a new drink for me. Left a very memorable impression to the end of my trip!“
