“We are shave ice nerds and try shave ice whenever we are in Hawaii. This is in our top 3 across the islands. The mango syrup was incredible. Our coconut one needed a bit more and the gal mentioned even before we took it that we should come back for more syrup if it was dry. They were great. I like ice cream but it wasn't even needed because the ice was so smooth and the syrups so flavorful.“

“I love ahonui when I am in the mood for take-out that’s also healthy and made of whole-foods. I am not a vegetarian, but I really like the food here. I always get the protein focaccia sandwich and warrior cold-pressed juice. I also love their salted chocolate chip cookie when I am in the mood for a sweet treat. It’s large and on the chewier side!“

“My husband and I both had the Loco Moco. He had the double I had a smaller one with a side order of delicious macaroni salad. We could not eat it all “Large Portions” it was absolutely delicious with great service “nice people” in a cute little dinner, All for a reasonable price.“

“My husband convinced me to stock up upon our arrival at this store, and so glad he did. Fruit selection was ok, I would have liked to see more local produce. Great selections on both deli and processed fun products. Maybe even more options than I ever see in the San Francisco Bay Area (!) Prices also were somewhat comparable to what one pays in SF.“

“Ate here once a few years ago and have been meaning to go back sooner. Went this past week like 3 times! We like their bahn mi sandwiches, Tan Tan Ramen, 6 minute egg and Mac Crack Fish Bowl. Their cook does a good job and all of the local wahines working the cafe’ are really nice!“

“I haven't visited their actual location yet but had one of their pies at Duke's Beach House in Kaanapali and found the chocolate Pono Pie at the Farmers Market in Kaanapali. So fricking good. I ate the chocolate one for breakfast this morning, went really well with my coffee? If you see these in any local shops or have the chance to visit this location, do it. You won't be disappointed!!!
Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten, dairy and cane sugar free. Sweetened with honey, it's perfect. They do use macadamia nut milk and macadamia nuts so if you avoid tree nuts don't eat these“

“After a long flight, we saw this restaurant along the route to our resort. I am usually not that pleased with their food, but this time it was all about convenience - we were tired and hungry and just wanted to pick something up and get back on the road.
I must say, my husband and I were very pleasantly surprised by how really delicious the food was.
I had the sesame chicken and the grilled teriyaki chicken along with fried rice. My husband had something spicy and the noodles and then we shared the rice and noodles. Everything was very good - including the service.
We took our food to go but it seemed to be a very clean place with lots of people stopping by.“

“Got the Papaya Dream Salad. I am gluten sensitive. Asked what was in the health grain mix. Sounded like the lady said rice and berries and she said it was gluten free. I couldn't see what it was exactly from where I was standing. Turns out it was Barely - not gluten free!!!“

“My family of 6 loved the food. We had the mochicko chicken, garlic noodles, garlic shrimp and spicy chicken sandwich. Big portions. It’ll be lunch for me tomorrow. I would definitely go back again. The staff were polite and sounded like they were having a great time in the kitchen.“
