“Wow! Our bartender was so knowledgeable and helpful. He increased our enjoyment of the outstanding and delicious cocktails, which was quite a feat. We shared the salmon spread and sliced baguette, which was totally excellent. The quiet room and gorgeous monkeypod wooden bar help make the evening in Bar Leather Apron a memorable experience. This is a welcoming, comfortable and extremely competent establishment.“

“Was looking for a casual dining/bar experience and came across Genius Lounge. They have a wide selection of drinks, including Hawaiian-style cocktails and fun mixes. I got the green tea shot and the sailer Jerry Mai tai, both were tasty… and a little strong. I also got the chicken nanban, papakauli short ribs, and surf & turf entree. All the food dishes pleasantly surprised me with the good flavors, especially the Hawaiian bbq sauce rib eye. Literally so juicy and delicious. Would definitely recommend for a late night eat and drink.“

“Forget just dinner this was an unforgettable journey. The wow factor began instantly, turning the corner from the elevator to that view, perfectly framed from our table. Flawless food, impeccable service, great music, and a truly unique dessert followed. The heartfelt goodbye from our waitress capped it off perfectly. We loved every second“

“I go here to have a beer right before, or after class to hang out with friends because how close it is to HCC, the bartender always ask you if you want a snack with your drink free of charge, and the food is great, alot of good times in this bar.“
“Located on the 2nd floor of Waikiki Shopping Plaza. I went there at the end of September 2024, and it was empty and quiet. Drinks include sweet latte, mocha, and tea. The restroom was outside the store. You can apply for tours etc. There were 3-4 operators at the counter. I was curious about the $40 bill for a taxi from my hotel in Waikiki to the airport, but I had already booked it elsewhere, so I didn't use it. Although it was smaller than Rakuten Lounge, it was a good place to take a break.“

“Excellent food, had the brie appetizer and catch of the day, blackened monchong. Staff recommend wine to pair with dinner and Taylor-tini were perfect. Chef Nathaniel clearly enjoys creating his dishes which are extremely delicious. Highly recommend!“
“My first time at this cocktail bar was spot on. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Jenn, who was incredibly sweet and welcoming. I asked for her recommendations on the most spirit-forward cocktails, and she truly delivered. I was a little hesitant at first when she suggested their twists on the classic Old Fashioned and Manhattan, as you can get those almost anywhere. But I am so glad I trusted her. The drinks were expertly crafted and absolutely delicious.
Jenn and I got to talking, and she told me all about the bar's inspiration from a place in Japan and the whole atmosphere felt so warm and homey. You could tell the staff genuinely enjoyed working together, which made the experience even better. It’s rare to find a place that feels this welcoming, and I’m so happy I found this hidden gem. I’ll definitely be back.“
“Had a nice atmosphere and ran into a friend who happened to be the pool table holder upon my friend and I arriving. And we were fortunate to be able to play numerous racks even though there were over 2 dozen people enjoying the reggae music and socializing with eachother. And since playing pool was the mission. We nailed the mission in short order!“

“The new menu is fantastic with so many choices. Nice ambience, but was a little awkward as the main dish items we not served at the same time and we waited at lease 10 minutes for the second person to receive their dish. The food was outstanding, though and very innovative.“
“Perfect place for pupus and drinks before hitting up Republik for concert nights and hitting up District for clubbing & salsa nights“

“Thank you very much for your help during my stay in Hawaii.
Overseas, there are no places where you can relax because you can't speak Japanese, but this is a place where you can feel at ease because the Japanese staff will help you.
Rakuten card holders can take a one-hour break at this facility.
When you visit for the first time, you will receive wet tissues that you will need in Hawaii.
In addition to receiving one can of beverage, you can also purchase one drink from the coffee maker.
In addition, there are restrooms, Wi-Fi, a massage chair that I didn't use, and a play area for young children.
The same facility is also available at Ala Moana Center, but the differences are as follows.
・The International Marketplace store is about twice as spacious.
・The International Marketplace store has more types of drinks that can be brewed with a coffee maker, and cold drinks are also available.“
“Great wine pairing dinners!!!!! And always a fabulous sunset. What more could you want these days?“

“Highly recommend this bar! It's in the Hilton Waikiki. The drinks are phenomenal and the bartenders are top tier! Shout-out to Dana, Blake, and Massimo. Great conversation, great live music on certain nights. And you can order good food from the restaurant next door for the bar. Happy hour specials and great mixed drinks!“

“I heard they're starting up Latin nights on Wednesday! With like a free dance lesson, it was actually pretty fun. Learned a little bit of salsa and bachata, enough to enjoy the night dancing. It was all free too. Just showed up, danced, just had to pay for drinks. I think they have themes. Cuz every was pretty much wearing black and red.
Didn't try the food but next time they latin night I will.“

“While shopping downtown Waikiki, we came upon the Swim Bar at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and stopped in for a meal. The bartender, Kyle, was very personable and he shared his insight after having lived in Hawai'i for over 40 years. We shared a large pizza and it was absolutely delicious. I could have eaten two of them! made the lunch experience most enjoyable and the atmosphere was simply fabulous. I can only comment about eating there at lunchtime but I would be willing to wager that dinner is just as wonderful. Swim Bar is definitely on the rotation the next trip to Hawai'i!“

“Nice place to wind down. It was me and my buddy's first time here. We just ordered some appetizers. The tempura was crispy and fresh. The french fries were very good, and they helped absorb all the Macallan we drank that night.
The service was excellent. The waitress made sure our drinks were always filled.
The atmosphere was perfect and their staff were very friendly. The owner made sure we were taken care of.
We will come back here again.“

“Booked a stay for 6 days. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing experience, this is not the place. The hotel is crowded, checking may take 45 minutes to an hour. As a Diamond member, I was the second in the precheck line, this start at 12:15 PM. Once pre checked my luggage was in the storage and I was free to do whatever I want until they call me when the room was available. Waikiki is full of restaurants within walking distance for every budget. During my stay I have found 2 negative points. In my last day, my door was knocked at 8 AM, housekeeping was asking me at what time I was leaving.... We returned to the hotel very late the night before and I requested a late checkout that was conceded for 1 PM (my flight leave at 10 PM). Once checked out, I store my luggage in a Departure Luggage Storage which was very convenient in my case, I was able to go to the Bishop Museum and had lunch at Helena's (recommended). However the area around the store smell like a trash bin with rotten food, this is unacceptable for a Hilton. Return? Maybe.“
