They put fresh fruit rather than ice cream on it and rather than waiting till the end they put flavor in the middle making it flavorful through. Therefore this place is 1# in Hawaii so far.“

The counter and side area where you can eat was clean. I can’t have dairy so I had just shave ice and it was so refreshing. The flavors blended well (I had coconut & lychee) and tasted yummy. My favorite part was the youngest daughter who definitely had the Aloha Spirit. She was practicing on her skates, helmeted of course, and talking to myself and another family. I asked about if she liked school and art (that’s what I teach), and her favorite flavor. It’s strawberry BTW I told my husband, she’s the original “Lilo”. There are two sauces that he keeps outside and we added the red/spicy sauce on top and they gave the tacos a great kick! Food was made to order and very fresh!“

“Pleasantly surprised at how good this place was. Lasagna, bolognese were both amazing. Appetizers including the calamari and focaccia bread were also great. We had some drinks in the bar across the way for happy hour while we waited, ambience there was nice as well, and there were couches for the kids. Highly recommend!“

My sister and me got some shave ice only thing the ice wasn’t packed like it should have been she said she’s running out of ice and it would take 15 minutes for new ice she said she can probably make one but she end up making 2 it was 15 minutes no new ice .. our shave ice melted so fast I know it gets humid out but I’ve had Plenty of shave ice it don’t melt that fast.

Customer Service was good 😊 she’s a young girl with a friendly mannerism.

“I don’t get everyone’s poor ratings of this place! We love this place. Went Three times while on our trip the price is average for Hawaii. The service was great and the food is great! We tried one other shrimp place and it was more expensive for less food. Highly recommend the garlic, shrimp, tacos, coconut, shrimp, and Bahia.“

“Food is still good however the service now sucks. if your eating and want something else or another drink. whoever is serving you will not get it you are told that you must go back up to the cashier and order it there. what kind of crap is that. when told that I replied that "Then no need to tip you right" ? got a dirty look for that one, I'm just saying what's the purpose of having a waiter/waitress that won't get anything may as well go to the Crack. glad the one in Kalaheo isn't like poipu !!“
