We have lived in Kāneʻohe for more than 15 years, and throughout that time, we have wished for a local restaurant with great food, a pleasant atmosphere, and affordable prices. With Munga, I finally feel that we have found it.

Based on the reviews, Moonga Asian Bistro is a place with incredibly fresh fish and exquisite plating. The sashimi blew people away. The egg drop soup had a perfect texture, thick with a rich taste, and the gyoza was so good. Entrees like beef lo mein and Mongolian beef were amazing, and the strawberry mochi ice cream is highly recommended. The thai basil beef, general tso's chicken, walnut shrimp, orange chicken, and lamb chops are also amazing. The food is very fresh with large portions at a good price point. The restaurant looks fancy but feels cozy and is beautiful. The staff are friendly, the service is impeccable, and they handle large parties with separate checks well. They are serious about chili symbols on the menu but can dial down the heat if asked.
