“Nice/cozy restaurant with great foods.“

“We stumbled across this gem in Kapolei on the 4th of July. Attached to the Embassy Suites hotel, it's very cute & well maintained with nice decor. But the food is why you come. We had wagyu steak so tender & beautiful it was an experience like no other. The poke was fresh & delicious. The service was attentive. We enjoyed it thoroughly. Can't wait to try it again!“

“Best food truck I’ve ever eaten from! I’m a western New Yorker, we cook and/or put hot sauce on everything. Not fully understanding all of the menu options, the owner, was so friendly, offered information about the types of fresh food he had and even offered us samples of the Ahi poke. Once a nay sayin skeptic, I’m now a true believer in raw fish as an amazing meal. I can’t say enough about how tasty this food was. We also had the Shrimp Tempura, Ahi Katsu and Limo Oi’o. All were absolutely some of the best food we had in over a week in Hawaii.“

Prices are fair and most of all the service is top notch. They’ve always been so welcoming and hospitable. Would highly recommend them to anyone!“

“By far one of the best meals my family and I ever had. The canoe appetizer was off the charts and the meals were even better. The ahi tuna and both the 16 is cab steak and the wagyu A-5 6oz was incredible and the desserts were even better. Highly recommend“

“Small shop in a shopping center. Typical low-rent decor and layout. Incredible banh mi. Best I've had since living here, and I'm kind of obsessed with them. The BBQ pork is flavorful, the filings are balanced, and the bread is perfection.

The summer rolls were good, and the peanut sauce was top notch. My husband loved his pho and combination bahn mi.

“Can’t really say to much about the service and atmosphere because it was take out but staff was friendly and we revived our food In a timely way. The kalua nachos are great, the cheese and ingredients are mixed throughout the nachos and not just stack in top leaving nothing on the bottom like other places. Would recommend.“

“Assaggio in Kapolei always has delicious and visually appealing food. The service is courteous, and they strive to provide a friendly atmosphere. The Bread is unbelievable I have to stop after the second basket due to the food I ordered. I tried the New York steak medium rare and the Shrimp Scampi. “Came here for the first time. We ordered the adobo fried rice w/ Lechon Kawali, dinaguan and pinakbit, Lechon Kawali and Pansit, and a side order of 1 pancake. Everything tasted pretty good. The dinaguan wasn’t as good as it looked. The Adobo rice was pretty flavorful with the Lechon. The pansit noodles were ok as well. The pancake was very flavorful and had a nice crust.

Staff are fast and friendly. Lots of parking and lots of tables to dine on.“

“Despite the negative reviews, my wife and I decided to try them out. We moved to Kapolei two years ago , and decided to not go here because of past reviews. Well, we ordered the shrimp with black bean sauce and the chicken cake noodle. We were surprised that both actually tasted good. I guess we don't have to drive to Waipahu for chinese food anymore should we get cravings next time.“
