“We had reservations because it’s highly recommended as it’s a gem of a place and were greeted kindly - hostess asked us if we have even been to Maui Wine and showed us where the restrooms were- we didn’t even ask so I thought that was so kind of her. Every single staff member came to our table asking how everything was and if we needed anything, cleared empty dishes ect. - Explained the types of wine and our food selections for us and we left with some wine and jelly 🥰 It was an amazing experience! The ride there is beautiful as well. Thank you all at Maui Wine 💕”

“seriously one of my favorite places on maui. the sandwiches are HUGE and dont cost a whole lot, and they come with fries. there are so many restaurants that dont do that anymore. the desserts are great and everyone was super friendly and made us laugh. i appreciate this place and it’s a great date spot”

“When I tell you it was the best thing we did on Maui- not kidding. It was an amazing experience! We learned so much and loved helping! The coffee shop was delicious! We both got the “bee sting” and it was the best coffee we had on the island while we were there! The honey was absolutely delicious! Everybody was so kind and happy to show us what they were working on and answer questions. The bees were so awesome. BEAUTIFUL views! 20/10 recommend. I only wish we could have done their farm to table as well. Their passion shines through!”

“I don’t really like or eat cakes in general because they’re often too dry or too sweet but I ordered one for our wedding because of tradition. Rustic Roses had amazing reviews and when I ordered; Jackie made the process so easy and she was very communicative with me. Day of, our cake was delivered and when it came time to try and eat it, it exceeded my expectations. We ordered the dark chocolate with liliko’i and it was the perfect blend of chocolate richness with the tanginess from the passionfruit. I ate so much cake for the first time in a long time! Our families left no slice to spare. The cake was also decorated so beautifully and the price was unbeatable.

Sunday Breakfast outside overlooking South Central Maui with a view of the Pacific Ocean and Mauna Kahalawai (West Maui mountains.) The best eggs Benedict I have had. The savory crepes were also excellent. Family run, small restaurant. I would highly recommend.”

“Overindulged! The joyful experience of our 36th anniversary dinner will be one that we’ll be chasing over and over again! We were overindulged from the moment we sat down at the table with the most beautiful view, surrounded by soothing live music. The care and concern from each and every staff member was evident, making sure that the best possible bottle of wine for our meal was chosen, that our water glass was never too empty, that each plate delivered was well executed and well presented and explained, when done each time dishes were taken away quickly, the pacing of the meal was well done, just everything and everything! Perfection! And a special note to Sasha- we already noted during our meal service- the finesse and skill you brought to the level of service was just outstanding! Kudos to you and to the team that supports you in making sure that each of your tables gets the attention that they deserve! To say that our anniversary dinner was memorable is truly an understatement! It will be that feeling of being so well taken care of and that every orchestrated element enhanced our celebration will be what brings us back over and over again. We already are making plans to come back and I know we will be coming back over and over again! With our deepest appreciation! …and then the food! Truly the best farm to table experience on Maui! From the amuse buche course(s!) that wet our appetite for more goodies to come. The locally sourced ingredients shined with their freshness and the finesse in which they were presented. Two highlights were the Maui onion soup presented with the perfect amount of cheese and puffed pastry topping- just perfectly seasoned. And then the Haleakala filet mignon, once again perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned and topped with compound butter that was melted at table side with rosemary. (It feels like we are saying perfect too much! But we do mean it!) Then to end the evening celebration with our chocolate lava cake surrounded by white and milk chocolate fondue with banana bread and fresh fruits was simply scrumptious! Chef Junior Ulep, Mahalo for our special night, with our deepest grateful hearts, we appreciate your mana and the joyfulness in which you have chosen to feed us and our fellow patrons at Kula Lodge Restaurant!”

“Balai Pata is an absolute gem, and absolutely needed on North Shore / Central Maui in what’s otherwise a restaurant abyss of tourist forward formulaic burgers & fish tacos. Part of me wants to keep it a secret, but it deserves way more recognition than it has received. I’m honestly shocked it’s not packed every single night. Their innovative fusion menu is both playful and thoughtful, with fresh, farm-to-table dishes that change often enough to keep every visit exciting. The staff are the sweetest aunties, making us feel like family and doting on our toddler every time we come. Our little one (and the rest of us!) can’t get enough of their malunggay (moringa) handmade garlic noodles. No liquor license yet, so it’s BYOB, which makes for an even more relaxed, homey vibe. Easily one of our favorite spots on the island - and I’m sure it will become one of your favorites too.”

“We rolled up at 8am to a small line but it went super quick and we ordered the fav five plus two. Holy smokes were they good!! The donuts look small but they are dense and super fresh tasting! The proprietor was super friendly and had a top-notch stache! 10/10 would go again!”
