“Stopped here while I was waiting for my taxi to get to the harbor. What a delightful place! Exterior landscape/architecture complements the tall pine trees in Dole Park. Interior is like walking into a 50's time capsule: soda fountain, restaurant, bowling alley, arcade all-in-one. What more can you ask for? All so cutely designed. Even the bathroom is cute and equipped with the fancy Japanese toilets. Was only planning on getting an ice cream but I saw oxtail soup on the menu and had to order it. They packed it so well that it survived the hour+ bumpy/wet ferry back to Maui and my 45 min drive back to the hotel. Absolutely delicious.“

“Quint little cafe that makes everything from scratch. The owner is super friendly and you can tell that he loves his job. If you aren’t super hungry then I suggest sharing. The portions are incredibly generous. The Bento is a meat lovers dream and the fried rice is not to be missed.“

“Our dining experience was amazing. We came for the dinner service and was greeted by Merrylou the hostess. She was super sweet and very personable. Conversations with her flowed very naturally and it made us feel comfortable dining in the restaurant. Alex was our server and he was very knowledgeable about the food as well as other amenities on the resort. He was very thorough and efficient with service. The items came out at a nice flow.“

“I enjoy eating at No Ka Oi Grindz. The portions are hefty and the environment is friendly. Their location is also convenient to my place of employment. One thing about eating here is that it is popular amongst the working community that during the lunch hour (11-noon) it gets really busy. If you happened to go after the lunch rush it's more than likely there will be nothing left on their hotline.“
