“AMAZING POKE!!! Wow! The wonton nachos chips they make in house and the spicy mayo and other dips are homemade. It was so delicious from start to finish. We ordered nachos and the salmon plate and it did NOT dissappoint. We will certainly be coming back here as often as we can. The staff was all super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and intentional. “The only reason I left off 1 star is because the owner or manager needs to take the time to update the prices on the menu but besides that the food was good. I got Ahi katsu so you can't really mess that up lol but the front register girl Miya was an absolute ray of sunshine. Super sweet and answered all my questions and entertained my small talk. “What an amazing experience! We had the bubble waffle and gyoza with fried noodles for brunch and everything was so delicious! Their magic butterfly tea lemonade was so refreshing and not too sweet. Our server Chelsea was so bubbly and friendly and made it a 5 star experience! Can't wait to go back to try their other drinks and dishes😋“

“Real deal poke. Fresh and fantastic. Our favorite was Shoyu and also Spicy. One outdoor table for seating. I wish there was another option then to have it served in plastic. Paper bowls would be adequate and way more ecological than creating huge load of plastic waste with every meal.“

“My friend and I flew in today and are flying out tomorrow morning. She said we need Poke! So after looking up reviews and hearing good things about Monarch ..we were on our way! A short Uber ride later we ended up in this little place with huge portions of different kinds of Poke. “Kau Kau is serving up delicious grinds consistently. The BBQ sauce on the ribs is some of the best I've ever tasted. Mac salad is kept separately so it doesn't get warm sitting next to the ribs and rice. Prices are fair. If you have never been, I strongly suggest you try it. The whole menu on point.“

“I went to several great poke places during my trip to Hawaii, and this one was by far the best. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious. They say they don't use frozen fish, so the tuna sashimi was so fresh and the seasoning was perfect, making it the best. Even my 11-year-old son enjoyed it very much!

The wasabi ahi was firm, fresh, and balanced, with the wasabi enhancing without overpowering. This spot is now on my list for takeout when I am in the area. “Get there early and you’ll be very happy. This place has some of the best poke you can find anywhere. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, which makes sense given the location—right on the fishing docks. You can really tell the fish hasn’t traveled far from the ocean to your plate. The selection is excellent, the flavors are spot-on, and the atmosphere feels authentic and local, not touristy. Watching the boats and being so close to where the fish are brought in just adds to the experience. If you’re serious about good poke, this spot is absolutely worth a visit—just don’t wait too late in the day or you might miss out.“

“I went there on Wednesday about 115p. There's lots of free parking. I like the male cashier employees because they're more friendly. This time I got the crispy noodle with chicken. But I've also ordered garlic shrimp, salt and pepper shrimp, chicken wings. These are the plate lunches I like the most. I would continue to eat here if I'm in the area“
