“I would recommend getting that burger, it is the best burger I had in years, this burger you can tell it's homemade. I also had the Panang Curry, and the watermelon juicet hat was also ONO!!“

“Last night's Waikiki Block Party was packed and I ordered from this restaurant: lemongrass fried chicken and pad Thai (combo B) and the food was amazing! The lemongrass fried chicken was cooked to perfection; crispy, light batter, and juicy. The pad Thai was not dry an clumpy like other food stalls, but it was a little cold from being out. Otherwise, a very good takeout meal. I can only imagine what the restaurant experience is like.“

“I’ve been coming here for six years, and while the food hasn't changed, the crowds have definitely grown. I was surprised to see it packed on a Tuesday night with people waiting outside.
The atmosphere and service are fairly standard. Because they were in a rush, the staff missed some food crumbs on the seats and didn't wipe the table thoroughly. We ordered quickly to beat the rush from the group behind us.
As for the food, the bone-in fried chicken is always a winner—tender, moist, and crispy. The Pad Thai is actually one of the closest versions I've had to 'real' Thai food (told by thai friend). I personally didn't care for the spring rolls or the beef in the green curry (I prefer chicken), but that’s just a preference.
Everything we ordered feed 3 adults and 1 child.
Prices are standard for Hawaii Thai spots. For spice, 'Medium' is my limit—it’s definitely an 'American Medium,' not 'Thai Medium.' I'll be back, though the parking setup and the location are a bit of a hassle.“

“The woman who owns and runs the place is a one woman operation. Very sincere excellent cook. The food is very reasonably priced and very, very good. I've been to Thailand once before and I felt like I was right back there with the food.“

“Food was all right. Service was top notch for a small family-owned restaurant. Ordered the chicken satay which was quite savory. An interesting way of doing the peanut sauce. Not as sweet as other places back it on the mainland. Ordered the the drunken noodle Thai spicy, but couldn't get the spiciness I wanted. But the seafood in it was well done and tasty“

“Absolutely amazing little place! We were looking for something to eat after 9pm after everywhere else was closed and man am I happy I found this. Best service, amazing food! The cook came to greet us and made sure everything was to our taste. I hate spicy and the cook made all my food without being extremely spicy. You have to try the Pad Thai and their specialty rice. You will not regret coming here! Enjoy a new fav Thai. Don’t let it being a pub stop you from going! Very friendly and fun!“

“The Best Thai spot on the side of the island. Very friendly staff, working out of a small, nice and clean restaurant, serving excellent food with quick turn around time.
Great portions for the price too! If you want some good Thai come check this place out“

“The food is ABSOLUTELY delicious! The service is efficient and courteous. It is, however, a food truck and once you get your food, you can take it to go, or eat outside using the adjacent seating braving the elements (including some rather brave birds, and very pesky flies).“

“Great, authentic Thai food that's not too garlicky or spicy. The flavors are delicate and well balanced. Place is new and very clean (which is honestly rare in Hawaii) with very comfortable seating and a quiet atmosphere. Fast & friendly service too. A+“

“My husband and I spent 24 hours in Honolulu and discovered this wonderful Thai Bistro! The service was very friendly and attentive to our preferences. We ordered spring rolls, brown rice, Penang chicken curry, and green curried chicken. Oh, the flavors were perfectly blended! It’s the best Thai food we’ve had outside of Thailand. We highly recommend Thai Bistro Suksabay!“

“If you are looking for a great affordable Thai restaurant this is the place to eat. I drive from the east side of the island to dine here. BYOB! The fried chicken appetizer, chicken satay, larb, spring rolls, papaya salad, drunken noodles, stir fry dishes and curries are stand outs. Everything is fresh and delicious. Save room for the mango sticky rice. Many customers order vietnamese pho here. I haven't tried it.“

“I have lived in Northern Thailand for over 15 years and my husband is Thai, so I feel its safe to say I have tasted some amazing Thai food over the years. Thai Village ranks right up there with the best of the best. The Larb Pork tastes just as my favorite street vendor made for me in Mae Hong Son province. Staff are friendly and the food is AMAZING. I definitely recommend it.“

“Stumbled on this place right off base around lunch time. This “shack” is no fast food joint. Everything is made to order, so it takes about 10 mins to get your food after ordering. But the wait is well worth it!
We ordered the pangang curry and Thai boat noodles. Both were flavorful and fresh! For $12-$13 per meal, this was a large helping. I will say, the Thai boat noodles did have some chunks of lemongrass, cloves, and other sneaky flavor bombs that can get intense if you aren’t careful to pick them out.
I will come back again for sure!“

“My husband and I really enjoyed their authentic Thai food! It's a small, cozy restaurant, but the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The owner and staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home. We'll definitely be back. 😀“

“The waiter was very nice, and the food was delicious. The place is small, and it seems that most of the flux is for to go, so it makes sense. My wife and I got a pad thai, it was good it has vegetarian options, so overall a good place to stop by.“

“Chicken laarb tasted okay. The ginger soup tasted really good. The shredded cabbage tasted really appetizing with its soup. I had this ginger soup a few times here, and I liked it every time. It's like a comfort food to me now. I'm just a bit disappointed this time because the meat was really tough. I had to really chew it. I almost choked one time when I just wanted to swallow it already.“

“Been going here for almost 10 years! I used to live around the corner and went almost everyday. Tommy and his wife are the most kind people ever and they will always be my first stop coming home. I moved off island a few years ago but come home every year and they always remember me and still have the best food! I always get the garlic chicken and spring rolls?????? highly recommend“

“I just had the pleasure of trying Tom Kha Gai for the first time, and it was an absolute explosion of flavors that I savored with every spoonful. The rich, creamy coconut base perfectly balanced with the tangy zest of lime, the bright citrus notes of lemongrass, the warmth of galangal, and a subtle kick of chili made this Thai soup an instant favorite. I ordered from Bangkok Chef Nimitz in Honolulu, and they did not disappoint. The soup was fresh, aromatic, and delicious—definitely a dish I'll be craving again soon!“

“This is the only place in Oahu. I go for Thai food. I’ve been living often on in Thailand for the last seven years and this food is pretty close. Currys are very ono, the staff are very nice and take very good care. The Thai iced tea is worth the caffeine rush.“

“The staff was very nice when I entered the field of the place is very exquisite. I can feel like I am in Thailand. I totally love the designs as soon as you walk in. I feel like I’m in a whole Nother world. I can totally see the vision of this place transforming into a Luxury Thai restaurant. They have amazing deals and right now they have four pieces of fried chicken for $8.99 and I must say they make it fresh and it is very crispy. I felt relaxed when I was waiting for my food. I had a calm peaceful setting, and he had like little water fountains all around the place. This is definitely a hidden gem on the west side you should totally check it out. They have an amazing Thai food.“

“We were working in the area and we got a recommendation to try this food truck close by. We walked over and looked the menu and it sounded very good.
We ordered two different plates and they were both made on the spot and were hot and fresh. Both plates were delicious and we would have no issues going back for lunch again.“

“So this Thai village is located inside of Mililani town Center. There is lots of parking all around. We went on a Saturday and let me tell you. It was nice and quiet if you’re looking for a place that’s more relaxed and a safer place for children they also have an Allied universal security guard posted up right in the golf cart right in the middle so it makes you feel really safe. You know just the securities’s present is present makes a whole difference and I see that the kids feel a lot safer but other than that we went inside the Thai village restaurant. It’s fairly small, but there are tables where you can fit up to about 4 to 6 people we ended up getting the red curry with sticky rice and the long rice soup. Oh my gosh, it was so delicious but the total was about $70 because we ordered it to go. Also if you do order red curry you have to order the rice separate. I think it’s because it is a two goal but red curry cost around $20. It comes with potatoes, carrots, and oh my gosh it was amazing. I totally would go there again and even though the chicken long rice soup was amazing as well. I wish I took a picture of it, but I scarfed it down sorry guys other than that definitely a must try.!!! and it got busy very quickly. It was probably around 5 PM.“

“I didn't try any of the food however, I ordered a Tai Iced Tea only to find a fly in my drink. When I informed the proprietor of the establishment of my discovery, he was super apologetic and replaced my drink with no questions asked. He even offered more than what I had purchased and was genuinely embarrassed by the fluke that nature had provided. I informed him that we were good accepted another drink sans fly. I would definitely recommend trying the food here and leaving a generous tip! The Elephant Shack in Honolulu is the real deal and you won't be dissapointed.“

“In our one week stay in Oahu, my husband and I ate here for dinner twice! It was seriously so delicious. We ate only vegetarian options which were full of flavor, spice levels varied and were perfect. Service was really efficient and the staff was excellent. Its a small place but that didnt draw away from the experience at all. There is a lot of Thai culture throughout the restaurant, including decor and music. If we were close to this restaurant everyday I wouldnt have minded eating only here!“

“Excellent currey. All their curries are great, lots of ingredients, just the right spices. Recently increase price, but they give you a lot of good. I ordered take out only. Did not tried their other dishes.

“A hole in the wall place. People mostly take out. Just a few tables for dining in. NO table service. Counter service only. Some of the dishes are very good like the oxtail or pho. But the pork ribs are very underwhelming(fried bacon slabs). Can’t beat the prices though.“

“Kim, Kevin, and the tasty food keep us returning. The only suggestion we would offer is that the food for the plate lunches be kept consistently on a food warmer that's turned on, rather than giving it an appearance that the food is heated.“

“This great Thai take out place offers all the classics at very reasonable prices in a convenient location. It is located in the food court area just outside of Don Quijote. Their food is all made to order and served up hot and fresh, as well as the operators are very friendly and take your order courteously. I ordered the Tom Kai Gai soup which is similar to the Tom Yum, but with coconut milk and tasty perfectly sizes of sliced chicken breast. I did order it spicy because I like the Thai chili kick, but you can get it mild as well and it will still be flavorful from ginger and kaffir lime leaves. The broth is light, yet very satisfying. I recommend getting a side of jasmine rice to go with it if you aren't getting anything else. One down fall to this location is the common seating area in the food court. Aside from being very busy with customer entering and exiting Don Quijote, there is an over abundance of homeless and crazies hanging out. It doesn't make for a comfortable dining experience if you aren't a bit thick skinned. On a plus note, if open, they do have an inside counter area that can seat about 2. I would definitely go back again as well as recommend this place to others.“

“This papaya salad is seriously amazing!
Authentic Lao-style flavor — bold, spicy, and full of that rich fermented fish sauce aroma.
The papaya strips are crunchy and fresh, and the seasoning hits all the right notes: spicy, salty, tangy, and perfectly balanced.
Served with warm, sticky rice that’s soft and fragrant — the perfect match for a spicy dish like this.
If you love real, fiery papaya salad with strong flavors, this one is a must-try!“

“We found Aloha Mamacita while watching a Niners game at the Row, where they allow outside food.
We ordered onion rings, fries, and their Thai fried chicken. The fries and chicken were my favorites. For 3 people, all of it came out to around $30, too.
Staff were super friendly, and the seating inside is nice. Parking is easy with the garage and validation. All in all, would definitely come back to try more items (like their horchata towers!)“

“I love Thai food and always looking for a good Thai food place. I have always driven past the truck, now I'm glad I stopped and ordered the Pad Thai. It was the best one I've ever had. Looking forward to try other food on the menu and wish they are open on more days than just Thursday and Friday.“
