“I stumbled upon this catfe (get it? So cute!) when I needed to use the bathroom one day on my way to Mokulē’ia and it was such a great discovery! First, they have a nice extensive menu with caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks, sweet and savory food, and bagged snacks. Their caffeinated drinks are not too sweet and I’m thrilled about that. To play with cats, it is $20 for an hour + a free drink and it’s honestly such a good deal! The cats are SOO cute and friendly, and I can’t wait to meet the new kittens that are coming in.
The owners (who also work there), Angela, Jason, and their daughter are all so sweet. I have already brought a cat-lover friend to visit, and can’t wait to make this a regular stop when I’m on my way to Mokulē’ia!“

“First time here for this local resident! I've driven past this intersection for decades and have no idea when this business popped up. Great location, parking, outdoor seating (kid and dog friendly), and a solid, healthy menu. I had the vegetarian burrito with tofu, and scarfed it down before remembering to take a picture. That's how good it was. A trickier proposition when it's raining, but that's also when the flies leave the area.“

“Best coffee I've had on Oahu!!! Simple, dark roast coffee with a little sugar. Others in the group had a smoothie and latte - all were perfect. Blueberry/lemon scones were delicious! All of this while watching a beautiful sunrise was a great start to the day! Definitely recommend!“

“This is a nice little shave ice stand near the Leonard’s. The ice is very fine, the way a shave should be. I suggest getting the “snow cap” added to your order, which is the condensed milk.This place is cash only, so be sure you bring some when you swing by.“

“I'm a visitor from Las Vegas and have been to Hawaii many times to visit my family and I was with my mom, Auntie, and my oldest cousin. This was my mom, Auntie, and my first time to this place. My oldest cousin visited this place a couple of times. For me, this place is great. Clean and the employees were nice and made our drinks. And also, the cashier was a lady with glasses and she nice and gave us a cups of I think it was chocolate and caramel. And greet at us when we got in and when we leave. Hopefully when we if we can come visit and vacation Hawaii again, hopefully we can come back to this place again.“

“I was 9 years old in 1964 when we visited Oahu. Coconut Joes is my favorite memory. I'm glad to see it is still there although it has changed from a hut made of chicken wire covered by vines to a modern building. I'm wondering if they still have a myna bird somewher on the property. My brother and I loved that bird.“

They accommodated our rather large group across two booths. It is definitely an old school diner style but I found it charming. “This is in a nice hidden small food court in H-Mart. The pastries were great, well made and flavorful. The coffee was far superior to Starbucks. This is my new favorite coffee shop. If you're looking for a great cup of joe, this is the place.

Be warned the coffee selection is limited but the flavor is great. I would recommend the Einspanner.“
