“Located in Waianae above Kalo Bombs, Lanterns Restaurant and Tavern is a new business serving up good food and service with a beautiful view of the ocean. We decided to come here for pau hana and I loved the vibes! Live music was performed by La'a. He performed songs that most locals can sing along to. The service was great! Our waiter, Alaka'i, was very friendly and attentive. For our meal, we ordered oysters, chicken wings, fish and chips, and a valley burger with substituted mushroom medley instead of fries. The burger with the mushrooms were my favorite. Very good! I'll definitely be back!“

“Great outdoor pool bar. Small and intimate. Bartenders were very attentive. There is a lunch and dinner menu offering depending on the time of day. We just to happen to have been there at dinner time. The menu is small but impactful! Lots of yummy choices! We opted for the nachos and short rib Bao buns! BOTH DELICIOUS!!! This is the place to go in the evenings after dinner to have a couple cocktails and take in the surrounding scenery. Just so beautiful and relaxing!If you’re feeling like something sweet. “We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. You pay at the counter, take a number, then they bring your food to your table. We tried the fish tacos, French dip and clam chowder (soup of the day). Everything was tasty, just a bit on the salty side even for me (I love salt). I would definitely get the French dip again (it had a delicious garlic flavor). The clam chowder was also very fresh, and lighter (less creamy) than most chowders.“
