“I was very impressed with this spot. Group had fish and chips, shrimp cocktail, grilled snapper and drinks. Everything was cooked exceptionally well, and such a good price point. Seasoning on the fried items was on point, with the perfect crispness without being dry.

Would highly recommend to those looking for this type of food, as it's a great price point and excellent quality. Note that it's a self seating so it's that kind of place, but we found seats easily (but like everywhere, look out for birds/chickens)“

“We had reservations because it’s highly recommended as it’s a gem of a place and were greeted kindly - hostess asked us if we have even been to Maui Wine and showed us where the restrooms were- we didn’t even ask so I thought that was so kind of her. Every single staff member came to our table asking how everything was and if we needed anything, cleared empty dishes ect. - Explained the types of wine and our food selections for us and we left with some wine and jelly 🥰 It was an amazing experience! “Really good Hawaiian fare. We love the kalua pork and teriyaki chicken. If you get katsu chicken ask for extra sauce as they don't give near enough. We get take out from here every time we come to Maui. We got three plates of food for 2 adults and 2 boys (11 and 13) and we had enough leftover for lunch the next day.“

I love the little store here too - cute souvenirs and t shirts. Service was great, super welcoming and went the extra mile to ask us if we needed extra utensils a bag, napkins, etc. Seems like basic service but you’d be surprised at how many places you have to verbally ask for those things in HI if it’s your first trip. 4.8/5- only ding was the small drink- would recommend.“

Update 2: We visited yet again yesterday. The food keeps on getting better. The crispy pork belly appetizer was beyond excellent. One of the best dish we ever had. Ahi & Steak Pokd were outstanding as always. I would give more than five stars if it would be possible.😀“
