“We had the pleasure of dining at the Chef’s table last night. Everything, and I mean everything, was superb! The service was incredibly attentive, with no fewer than 8 staff members checking on us during the evening. In a most wonderful way. Our lead server John was completely knowledgeable of all the details and the wines and was super accommodating. The chefs Miguel and Ian were two of the 4 chefs who kept an eye on everything, and they were such a pleasure! It was clear that everyone we interacted with was completely committed to making our night extra special. They succeeded spectacularly. And the meal! The pace was handled perfectly and the dishes were wonderful, beautiful and memorable. Finally, the restaurant is beautiful and the views of the palms and ocean are gorgeous. We have been to Ka’ana Kitchen a few times in recent years, but never before at the Chef’s table. When we return, we be at that table once again. To all involved last night, thank you so much! “A wonderful culinary experience. The entire menu is based on a fusion of Hawaiian culture. The pork belly bao buns, lavender honey crispy shrimp are out of this world. They do not fall short on great tasting entrees either. The seafood lau lau is absolutely delicious. Dinner wouldn’t be complete without exceptional drinks and dessert, which you can count on Kō serving.

“It’s a food truck at the end of the road with nothing else around except a competing food truck. You order at the window and then wait for your food- around $5 per taco. Electronic payment. We got the veggie tacos and the chorizo tacos. The veggie tacos were great for being in Hawaii- rice, beans, lettuce, cheese and guacamole wrapped in 2 tortillas each.

“Not kidding when I say this is top-tier Thai food in the US (and I've had lots of Thai food in NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, etc., as well as in Bangkok). I went here for dinner for two days straight and tried the pad thai, pad see eiw, lobster rice, and pad khee mao. ALL of these dishes are great. Hands down the best food I had during my week in Maui.“

“We had reservations because it’s highly recommended as it’s a gem of a place and were greeted kindly - hostess asked us if we have even been to Maui Wine and showed us where the restrooms were- we didn’t even ask so I thought that was so kind of her. Every single staff member came to our table asking how everything was and if we needed anything, cleared empty dishes ect. - Explained the types of wine and our food selections for us and we left with some wine and jelly 🥰 It was an amazing experience! This pizza is better than most, at very attractive prices in a nice relaxed atmosphere. When he's able he could probably spruce up his tables a little bit, but it adds to the rustic nature. Lovely views even though it's beside the highway, so can get a little bit noisy. “Decided to splurge a little and treat myself and family to a nice breakfast in wailea. As locals we have our usual spots but decided to give this place a try since there was a kamaaina special. We weren’t disappointed. I had my fill of smoked salmon, ahi poke, bacon, and eggs benny (all buffet so that was a plus). Kiddos had everything and the wife really enjoyed the atmosphere. Not stuffy, great staff (Venus was our server) and the kamaaina was a plus. Coming back again.“

“Pizza Madness is the best pizza on Maui! Excellent crust, fresh toppings and delicious sauces, both the red and white Alfredo, a good choice with garlic chicken. They also serve up some fine buffalo wings and have a buy ten get one large free pizza deal along with other items for points. We mostly do takeout and the food is always hot and ready to go promptly. We highly recommend Pizza Madness, been going there for years and love it every time. Phil, Cris and Kyle, Kihei Maui.“

“Fun and friendly location and staff. You're not gonna get a 5 star meal here, but you will get a tasty brat/burger/sausage and a good beer for the price of a cheap appetizer elsewhere. The dollar bills go back to the mid-80's, so it's kinda fun to see how they've used them. Apparently, they have a great clam chowder on Friday mornings that sells out quick, so next time we're there, we'll definitely have to try it!“

Chicken was great, first time trying huli huli chicken and was impressed with the flavour. Cooking over charcoal hits different and makes the flavour. Ribs were good, not overly seasoned but I like tasting pork.“
