“Visited Ohana Poke House for lunch and really enjoyed it!
I got the chicken teriyaki bowl since I'm pregnant. The flavors were comforting and the portion was huge. I was stuffed. Hubby got their ahi shoyu bowl and thoroughly enjoyed it. He said it was fresh and very well sauced.
This restaurant is located on the second floor, and there's a free parking lot out front. The staff was friendly, the vibes are very casual, and they really take their time to prepare each meal so you know it's fresh. Would recommend!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5 Stars. This place has the best quality poke I’ve had! Spicy King Salmon, Spicy ahi with Uni! 🥢🥢🥢 We go here for all our poke and sashimi platters, we get spicy ahi, Hawaiian salt tako, and tobikko King Salmon. In love. They have two locations, one with indoor dining! Perfect for families as well.“

“There is seating and you can bring about four or five people per table. There’s also seating outside. It’s a really cool area of dying with family, friends or coworkers and also there is parking lots of parking right behind. It is literally connected within the storage building. literally it is located across McKinley high school’s football field. It is such a jam. They have really good fish there. The ambience is calm. It’s pretty quiet and next-door they have other high-end restaurants. This is a really good area to be in if you want to hang out with people visiting and or just bonding.“

“Love this spot. It is a quick and fresh poke spot. They serve fresh fish in all their bowls and rolls etc. Street parking is fairly easy to find close by and they have indoor counter seating and a small outdoor patio. The costumer service has always been good.“

“Yummy options, from local ahi poke to salmon and octopus. Good selection of toppings.. friendly staff.. in a prime location. Decent price for Waiki, more expensive than similar poke places in Manhattan so don't expect cheap. Regular, which is large portion is large.“

“The best to ring in the new year, ran into a bit of a snafu trying to pick up my order, (no fault of theirs), she went above and beyond and still got my order! I love them and what they represent. My go to for the freshest poke on the island hands down! My friend Chef Adam Tabura recommended them and the rest is history! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“This one’s for my people — this place got it on lockdown. The fish is always fresh and served perfectly, every single time. Honestly, the only thing I wish for is a bigger poke bowl option — not gonna lie, I’m on the bigger side (Polynesian, you know what I’m sayin’ 😅). But the food? 10/10. Best there is, no doubt. The musubi options are endless, and everything about this place is just straight fire. Much love to the crew running it — y’all doing it right“

“Breakfast at Fresh Bites has become a weekly routine for me. To the point that they remember my order... Service here is fast and you can usually get a table to dine in pretty quickly. Prices are reasonable and I like the diversity of the menu. I often get the mochi benedicts for breakfast and poke bowls for lunch.“
“Absolutely delicious little place inside a hotel lobby. A menu that meets so many cravings we were there specifically for the Poke. They had so many options we decided to do a Poke Flight with a side of Wonton Chips and a side at Salad Greens. That paired with an Okonomiyaki Fries and we were stuffed. They also have a good cocktail menu. The Redfish Old Fashioned was a bit light on the whiskey but very tasty. 2 drinks, an appetizer, 4 types of poke with 2 sides was less than $100 and we were full. We will be going back to try the fried rice, loco moco, and steak which all looked (and smelled) good at other tables.“

“large portions, super customizable which is awesome for a picky eater but also if you want to try new things, there are so many options and you could easily eat something by new every day for two weeks.
poke is sooo fresh and good plus the furikake on top makes everything so much better. I’ve eaten here every day on my trip in waikiki and it really is such a gem. 11/10 don’t miss it and order online to skip the line. I usually order online and it’s impressive how on time they are even with a huge in person line“

“Hidden gem, I love the sweet potato with the spicy ahi here. I’m from Oahu and haven’t had a favorite poke spot besides places I’ve been on Big Island or Foodland, but this place is an easy favorite. The guys who work here know their stuff haha, you get so much food too and the cost is worth it for the quality.“

“The atmosphere in that food court is a bit crap, but luckily the poke place has indoor seating! The poke itself was a very generous portion (I got a large, with 3 fish scoops of fish) and I barely managed to finish it. Everything was very tasty and fresh, and the staff were very friendly“

“We came on a day where they were understaffed and very busy!
The food took awhile to get out, but it was well worth the wait! The kalbi burger was so flavorful and so good! And the garlic fries weren’t too over powering with garlic- just the right amount!
We had the best bartender who made the wait both entertaining and fun. Although she faced a series of unfortunate events- Danielle showed professionalism, and stayed smiling and laughing through it all and made sure to communicate everything clearly to everyone.
As industry people ourselves, we know how it can be, we hope you see this because you did great girl and we loved you! (The two “black cats” for reference!)
We will be back for sure while we’re here on vacation!!“

“The first fish I sampled had me ready to buy two bowls immediately. They told me it was “previously frozen fresh” — I don’t even know how that works, but it didn’t matter because it tasted like it was caught five minutes ago by someone who takes their job very seriously.
Then the lady goes,
“Wait, try this one.”
Me: “…Excuse me?”
Next thing I know, I’m leaving with six different pokes, a spam musubi, and this egg-wrapped poke bite that felt borderline spiritual.
If you’re in the area and you don’t come here?
Shame on you.
Best poke on the island.
Staff = incredible.
Food = unreal.“

“Please support your local businesses! This is a hidden gem and the food is delicious. The lady that waited on me was wonderful and informative. I had the Salmon Donburi (poke bowl) with the Miso soup (about 1/2 cup). For those of you who like the aesthetics of a meal, it was prepared in a delightful and beautiful manner. I felt bad that I had to eat the beautifully prepared dish. The soup was good and the Salmon donburi was salted to a perfection and the rest of the bowl (avocado, cabbage, greens) complemented it well.“

“Fresh catch is the best! Reasonable prices too“

“Fresh Catch is a fantastic spot for fresh fish & poke dishes. A deli style counter inside with simple menu items & pictures makes even a first time customer feel comfortable. The waiting area is just that, a place to sit and wait, though the service is fast and friendly. By the time you casually look at the all pictures, you’re order will be coming along & be careful of the heat on the bottom of to-go trays, I almost burnt myself, but that’s okay because it’s fresh! Good portion & priced accordingly…recommend 🤙🏼🎣“

“Hidden gem! Only locals really know about this spot. The food is super affordable and always fresh — never frozen. My go-to is the salmon belly plate, it’s so ONO! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of my favorite seafood places in Honolulu. 🐟✨“

“I happened to find this place and decided to give it a try. The food had a comforting, homemade taste that really hit the spot. You can choose your type of rice, and for the side, you get to pick between seaweed or cucumber. It also comes with pickled ginger, which was a nice touch. Everything was good!“

“Located inside the Central Pacific Bank Plaza at the back corner where it says Aloha Beer (but it's bento actually).
Quality sushi! It's in a casual setting, but the quality and taste are not casual. There were many things I wanna try but finally decided on doing the chirashi bento.
Delicious and fatty fish! One thing you can tell if this place has good fish or not is by trying their red tuna. Quality places would give you a nice cut that's bright red with subtle mild fish flavor. Budget places will give you tuna that has a lot of ligaments and almost no fish flavor. Their red tuna was good, along with the ika (squid), negitoro (minced tuna), some fatty white fish, hamachi, crab meat (with light mayo), salmon and shrimp (although I wish it was amaebi instead). Their rice was also yummy with good seasoning and al dente texture.
Prices were not cheap but not ridiculous. I paid $24 for my bento, wish there's just a little more seafood. They have other options that are more affordable.
I went during week after 12:30pm and there was no line. I just walked up to the kiosk to browse what they had and placed my order. The card machine on the left of the screen also takes tap payment. There's also plenty of indoor and nice outdoor seating.
Would definitely go back if I want some sushi for lunch!“

“Great sushi spot in Kaimuki. The sushi here is incredibly fresh and full of flavor—it’s clear they take pride in using quality ingredients. The menu offers a great variety, from classic rolls to unique specialty items.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick—perfect for a takeout spot. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous, making it a great value for the quality you get.“

“Found this small restaurant as I walked around the area. Prices have increased from the menu I saw posted on here. Most are three dollars higher. There is a small seating area and I suppose you can eat there but this seems more like an order and go type of place. Food is decent. I found the portions to be spot on. I couldn’t finish my bento box and I took a bite of the poke bowl my wife ordered. Both were good. Fresh stuff. I’d recommend for sure.“

“God this place is incredible. A real family spot and true local joint. The food is incredible, the portions are generous, and the price is hard to beat. We hand a bunch of their breakfast plates and substituted the rice for their fried rice - which was so classic and delicious. We also had their limu poke and spicy tuna poke. Both were so buttery and Ono. Better that foodland! I wish this place was closer to home but it’s such a good excuse to cruise east side.“
