Vanilla ice cream was the perfect balance.
Shaved ice just creamy and smooth and flavoring balanced just right.

“The ladies who work here are very sweet. They give you extra smoothie in a little cup. The smoothies are the best I’ve ever had and the fruit is delicious. If you buy a 32 oz you can keep the jar and bring it back for $7 refills. The fruit is reasonably priced, $5-7 for a good size container.“

“We tried the matcha vanilla swirl and the ube, and both were absolutely delicious. The ice cream was creamy, flavorful, and the swirl itself was beautiful. It is definitely the kind of dessert that is as fun to look at as it is to eat.
After trying the ice cream, I am now curious to come back and try their regular matcha drinks as well. If their matcha flavor in the ice cream is any indication, I have high hopes.
One small note: be careful with the spoons! They were surprisingly sharp, so eat carefully or consider getting a cone instead.“

“Awesome, unique, cute store that doesn’t have the same tourist crap as every other store. Prices are ‘Hawaii’ compared to the states, but it’s nice stuff. The staff we talked with were friendly and made us feel welcome! They even recommended a new place for lunch. For us, we found a new stop on our North Shore trips each vacation!“

“My boyfriend (Drew) and I picked up dinner here last night and the BBQ beef sandwhich was amazing!!! We love how the spice of the sauce wasn't too spicy. The pickled daikon and carrots complimented the spice and the beef was cooked to perfection.
We were very surprised by the mung bean tapioca pudding. We were not expecting to like it. Overall, it was not too sweet and had a good flavor to compliment the BBQ Beef sandwhich.

“My family & I checked out this ice cream shop in the Chinatown district in Oahu, while visiting from California, and we are new fans! My two sons enjoyed a strawberry & chocolate ice cream, & I had me their delicious “black sesame” ice cream. The black sesame is a must try! All their ice cream are handmade & creamy with a lovely taste that will want you to go back for more.“

“Shaved ice so "fine" with a wide variety of flavors and add-ons 👍🏻 very consistent and never fail to delight. Also reasonably price. Service with a smile and so accommodating. Parking at times a challenge so go in the muddle of the day.“

“This place has some really excellent food! The noodles and dumplings are hand made, ingredients are fresh and every dish I’ve had here is flavorful and delicious. Dan dan noodles and blanket noodles are incredible, best on island 🍜“
“Drinks are perfect to enjoy at the nearby beach, and the beach here is just perfect. The service I received that day was absolutely top tier and she refused to take a tip. I insisted and reluctantly managed to get her to accept it. She absolutely earned it thank you so much.“

“It’s a pretty basic meal not the fanciest but a great bargain for Waikiki. I ordered though Uber eats and got the spicy shrimp with crispy chicken under a two for one deal. It was $20 for two plates, which is unheard of in Waikiki nowadays.“

“After spending the morning at Kaiona Beach Park with my cat, Laki, we stopped by Keneke’s for lunch and had such a wonderful experience. The outdoor seating area felt very pet-friendly, and everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming 🐾
I ordered the Coconut Shrimp lunch special, and it was honestly some of the best coconut shrimp I’ve had on Oʻahu. The shrimp were incredibly crispy, packed with real coconut flavor, and clearly made fresh to order. It took a little longer to prepare, but it was absolutely worth the wait.
The lunch special came with rice, macaroni salad, and a drink for only $13.60, which feels almost unbelievable compared to Waikiki prices these days. The portions were huge!! I ended up taking leftovers home and still had food left in my fridge later that day.
The cashier was especially friendly and welcoming. You can tell this is a place loved by locals, but it also feels comfortable and inviting for first-time visitors.
When we arrived, we were lucky and there was no line. By the time we finished ordering, a crowd had formed behind us, which says a lot about how popular this place is. If you’re visiting around lunchtime, be prepared for a wait, but the food is definitely worth it 🥰😸
