“Probably the best poke in terms of the fish itself. It's not as flavorful as one of the other poke places I visited, but this place definitely has a freshest and tastiest fish in Hawaii for poke. I saw the reviews on yelp were amazing for this place and I wasn't sure about visiting because it looked super rundown. But I'm super glad I came to visit. The fish were super good and It's prepared quickly for you. This is definitely a hole in the wall type of spot. I would definitely not have found it just drop by and I honestly am not sure if I would've visit after just seeing how it looks on the outside. Can't judge a book by its cover, because it was delicious.!! TLDR - best poke in terms of fish, definitely a hole in the wall type of spot“

“This is review is long over due. Dell's Kitchen is one my goto spots for an affordable plate local/japanese food. I've tried their Kawagoe Karaage, Kurobuta Pork Katsu, and Nori Chicken. The Karaage is my favorite and the most affordable as well. It comes with a sweet mustard dipping sauce, a coleslaw type salad, rice, and some other veggies. The portions are generous. And they have a dining area inside with complimentary water. They also have a sister restaurant next door that serves pasta dishes. Highly recommend this restaurant if in the mood for some good tasting and affordable local Japanese food.“

“I had an 8oz plate for dinner. The taste of the meat is very delicious, the sauce you can choose from, the fresh vegetables, the bagna cauda style sauce, and most of all, the portion is perfect, so you'll be very satisfied. The staff also spoke Japanese and were kind.“

“Ordered their Hawaiian style tako poke earlier this week and it really hit the spot! It's served with a bit of Limu - a type of algae - over rice and a bit of onions. Yum. Fairly generous portions of octopus which was sliced in bite-sized pieces. Would have it again the next time I'm in town! The only thing preventing me from giving this place five stars is their limited beverage options, especially sugar-free or sugar-less tea options. Otherwise, the wait for short and the food was hot. If you're not sure you want to eat raw fish poke (because your stomach was upset that day) but wanted a similar vibe, this is a highly-recommended choice. Keep in mind the location is somewhat hidden but by the pool at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. Be sure to walk towards the back off the side street. This is not a sit down restaurant (it's a walk-up window fast food situation), so if you're lucky, you can find seating by the pool or in the lounge area by the little convenience store just to the left of the shop. I didn't post a pic because a) I was hungry and b) it was ugly delicious and hence not photogenic at the time.“
“I ordered the food and took around 10-15min. Very helpful. However because it is a Korean couple running it, they make everything fresh! I got the bulgolgi sandwich which was very tasty! I would definitely go back! It was around 14 dollars.“

“Excellent food! Tried the Korean, Spicy Garlic and fried chicken bowl. Just make sure you ask if there are peanuts in the sauce if allergic.“

“The à la carte menu is fantastic. As a first-timer, the cashier kindly offered recommendations, and I'm glad they did because the fried fish with tartar sauce became my favorite. The turnip was lovely as well. I also love how this place is incredibly budget-friendly.“
“Discovered this AMAZING place about two years ago when I worked at the DCCA building and visit just about every week if not every other week.Love love love the garlic steak plate and I have gotten the spicy chicken poppers a couple times and have never, ever been disappointed. From the portions to the price, it’s perfect.now that I work off Ala Moana, I still make the trip to Alakea Steak, even if I have to walk because it is just that good to me. Definitely worth a try.“

“Ok, you know how some of the best food concepts are odd little pop ups that appear in random gas stations or convenience stores? This is an entirely new place to find amazing food- at the top of the stairs leading into a parking garage! Think that's all? Nope- because this place has fusion the way that I've only ever found here in Hawaii.Read on as I visit my local Mexican/Thai/Poke/pastry stand. In a parking garage. I've read that Aloha Mamacita also exists in Vegas but has Hawaii roots. I've also read and seen that they have a much larger space with a kitchen just below the space they are currently using, but the dining room simply isn't ready for guests. The good news is that there are cement tables in the courtyard of the building, so you won't have to go far if you want to stay nearby. I happened to visit on the day that they were revising their menu,, so was lucky enough to order. A brand new item- an adorable jiggly kitty pudding. They are $8, come in a variety of flavors, and are big enough to share if you want. I asked the helpful cashier which one was her favorite so far and she said matcha. Too easy, as it is a flavor I always choose. The pudding jiggled and swayed and I truly wanted to poke it forever, but eventually gave in and scooped it up. The texture was much firmer than I'd expected, and so deliciously creamy! It was similar to a very dense creme brûlée once you've made it to the interior. (Interestingly, they do also serve cream brûlée, though theirs is nestled into the center of a round croissant! It looks amazing.) I also decided to order the dish they are most known for, birria tacos. These were stuffed with meat and cheese, and dripping with juices. They were a glorious mess but I know I'll personally be happier when I try other menu items, as the two napkins they gave me were not enough, and my hands smelled delicious even after being washed multiple times. I also ordered the horchata, which was tasty enough, but could not compare to the one at Straight out of Husk. Hmmm, it might just be that I really love cream. My next visit will include at least one thai or Lao dish and a poke bowl, as the poke flavors include Thai and Lao spices on fresh ahi. Lemongrass poke? I can't wait! The poke is not officially on the menu, but seems to be regularly available. I visited at 11am, just as the lunch rush began. I was glad to be early enough to snag a table and was very happy to not be in the crowd of people packed in between the cars and the elevators. Happy to say that when I needed to move through that crowd they were all happy to let me pass by them. Still, I look forward to the day that I can sit inside the restaurant instead of in the courtyard. Prices are on the high end of reasonable. Taco Tuesday means $3 street tacos filled with the delicious tender beef but without the consommé, and they validate parking for three hours with a $10 purchase, which will be every order. Aloha indeed, Mamacita!“

“No dine in, no tables, no other staff. Just yummy breakfast plates and plate lunches. They do take card but we paid cash. No bathrooms. The shopping center has chairs and tables aligning the store fronts. Ordering is super easy. The pancakes were really really yummy and the kalbi was delicious. Great for grab and goParking: Parking lot is in the shopping center“
