“Easy in and out restaurant with some of the most reasonably priced food that we came across on our vacation. That said the food was fantastic, and was served to us without delay. We wanted a decent sit down restaurant without spending an hour to eat (that wasn’t fast food). This place checked all the boxes and made us very happy! Highly recommend!“
“We were recently on the island and were looking for a place to stop for lunch. Saw the sign on the side of the road and decided to take a chance. As voted by our family of 4 it was the best place we ate on our whole trip. DO NOT miss stopping here for food!!! The lady that took our order and brought it to us was amazing! The service was fast. The food was mouth watering! If I could give this place 10 stars I would!“
“We are just visitors to Waimea and in all my research for our trip we never saw this place mentioned but Taco Rosa should be shouted for the rooftop and on every travel blog. We luckily stumbled across it and glad we did! We have had lots of tacos in our life and these are definitely at the top. So unique and delicious. The meats are all so moist and the tortillas are perfection. We had the butter chicken, butternut squash, rope Vieja. All delicious but the butter chicken was my favorite. We planned part of our trip just to come back to get more. They share a space with Pau pizza and we also had their hummus, salad, and a slice of pizza. All worth trying!“
“We had the Carnitas and Burrito Grande Vegan. Portions were more than enough for one serving each. The food was just very fresh. The menu selection was excellent. Ample parking. The service was very informative and polite. With more than ample parking. We can’t wait to go back.“
“My wife and daughter accompanied me to Johnny's for lunch. My wife and I specifically went for corned beef and cabbage on Saint Patrick's day while my daughter, who lives in Hawaii had a braised beef sandwich. The food and service was top notch. Our corned beef came with cabbage of course and small white potatoes, carrots and a green. My daughter's sandwich came with homemade potato chips. It turned out she liked my potatoes better, so I ate her chips and she ate my potatoes and carrots. The chips were perfectly fried and had very little salt. I stopped eating when they were gone. Our waitress brought us a breakfast menu when we were done eating and it looks great. We intend to go back for breakfast before we return home. I hope that we get the same waitress because she was wonderful.Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free items on menu .Kid-friendliness: Restaurant tends to be open air on a golf course.“
“Glad I dropped by this spot a few minutes away from the beach. I ordered the Twin fin burger and Tsunami fries. Both packed with flavor and have island/surf themed menu items in this tiny restaurant that can seat 8 people at most. I'll definitely come back again if I get the chance! Have to add that it was a bit pricey and spent around $27 for the double patty burger and Tsunami fries. Lastly the lady wasn't really helpful when I was trying to figure out the self order kiosk. For some reason the meal options didn't match the menu on the wall.“
