“Food was absolutely amazing, although I wasn't a fan of the coleslaw. You can tell the fries are cooked from fresh potato (not frozen or sitting for a long time) Great choice of seasoning on them. The Sirloin was more than amazing. If I could rate the Sirloin more than five stars I would give it 8. It was cookies just how I asked, and WONDERFUL flavor through it all. The appetizer for queso and endless chips was amazing. First time going, definitely now a go-to date night restaurant. Server was so sincere and sweet.
Definitely beats Perkins, Flip N Jacks, or Applebees (which was my to go restaurant)”

“The food here is very good and at a very good price. I am hispanic and I really enjoy their tejana fajitas and the margaritas are great, especially the top shelf margarita. They have a 48oz option for a margarita, and you can take it to go if you don't finish it.”

“I live in Waterloo now and ALWAYS eat at B-Bops when I’m in the Des Moines area. Love the 1/4 bacon cheeseburger! The fries are to die for! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Always the perfect amount of salt. Wish they would expand to our area. Keep it an Iowa only restaurant but bring it up north please!!”

I asked how long she had worked there and she said a little over a month. However they are training those kids they are doing amazing!”

I tend to have issues at other coffee shops nearby with bad customer service but not here, everytime I come to scooters the baristas are so kind and helpful, and they’re always smiling and laughing with each other, makes me feel like they enjoy their jobs and have a great relationship with their coworkers.”

Hawk Haven with the awesome leadership, great staff, and an awesome environment have far surpassed the expectations of anything that’s been there prior. “Back again for a conference and we came to AJ’s for supper and drinks afterwards. Georgie was our waitress and took PHENOMENAL care of 9 of us. She was charming, very knowledgeable of the drinks offered, communicated with us on specifics when we ordered drinks out of the ordinary. We were in the restaurant for 2.5 hours and Georgie was attentive the entire time. We come every year for Mothers Day but AJ’s has become one of my favorite places to eat. The atmosphere and service are fantastic not to mention the food and drinks. Looking forward to my next visit to AJ’s!”

“I was on my way home, and craving a meatball sandwich. I drive right by this restaurant and thought “surely, they will have a meatball sandwich.” They did, and it comes with onion rings or waffle fries. I chose fries. When I opened the box, it looked so delicious, the right amount of cheese and the waffle fries were seasoned. The meatballs were absolutely delicious and the bread was soft. I’m not usually a fries person, but the seasoning was great, no ketchup needed. I will definitely be back to try more things off the menu. If the meatball sandwich was this good, I think I’m in for a great meal!”

“I reached out to them about serving food for a company event and they were AMAZING. Very kind people and they did a great job, and their food is delicious! Another food truck bailed on us last minute and Roadside Tacos helped pick up their slack and ended up serving more people than anticipated. No one left hungry. I will definitely keep them in mind for future events!”
