“A cool place in Clinton. Needed a quick bite to eat after clinching US 30 across Iowa on a recent road trip, and I'm glad I stopped in. The food and drink were good, and the bartender Amanda was very friendly and pleasant. Judging from some of the previous visitors' photos, this looks to be quite the local haunt for many, and it's not hard to see why. Not necessarily the most appealing place from the outside, but aren't those always the best places to go once you're inside? Stop by Manning's Whistle Stop if your visiting Clinton.“

“I havn’t been to the restaurant in person, but I have doordashed a club sandwich from them a few times. And there is a reason. It’s the best club sandwich in Clinton! So delicious! I recently tried the breakfast burrito as well and I was NOT disappointed! I would recommend this place times a hundred!! 😊“

“I think this was one of the best traditional American breakfast I have had in a long time. The hash browns were crisp, the sausage and bacon extremely flavorful, and the eggs just right. The coffee may have been the best though. The waitress was extremely friendly although I felt a little out of place when it seemed a bit quiet when I walked in. Turned out to be just what we needed this morning. Just be mindful they only take cash, but there is ATM machine next to the register. I will be back.“
