“First time stopping by. Instantly welcomed by the sweet smell of fresh made donuts. Coffee was great and loved the wide and fun selection of donuts. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Loved the crazy fun donut decor and donut posters. If you are in the area I would recommend stopping in.“
“I never leave reviews but was so impressed, I had to share, especially these days when good food and service is hard to find. Traveling for the holidays we stopped at Village Inn, surprised to find one still open. The restaurant was clean, well maintained and so festive with even the employees dressed in Christmas apparel. We were greeted with a smile and promptly seated even though it was very busy. Our waitress Abbi was fantastic! Always had a smile on her face, had our drinks refilled before we ever got to the bottom, had our food out quickly and correct and was sure to meet all our needs. The food was delicious with the large variety of food we ordered. Will definitely be back next time we go through Cedar Falls!“
“The amount of love and care she puts into her treats is immeasurable. I ordered a smash cake for my daughter’s first birthday and Maddie DELIVERED. One of the best cakes I’ve ever had!! There was family there who can be skeptical about vegan treats and they had NO idea! Her brownies, cookies, cake balls, really anything and everything she makes is amazing. Can’t recommend Moo’s Bakery enough.“
“Fareway Grocery on South Main in Cedar Falls, IA. is clean and well maintained. Meat counter is awesome. Picked up thick cut Cowboy bone-in Ribeye steaks tonight for $9.99 a pound. Good deal on good steaks. Update 10/28/2023: Tonight we picked up a huge Porterhouse steak for $13.99 per pound and a nice 3.5 Bread and Butter Roast. Grabbed a nice head of cabbage, small yellow potatoes, green bell pepper and baby carrots. Put it all in the slow cooker tonight with onions, garlic, kosher salt, course ground black pepper and brisket rub seasonings for Sunday lunch. Oh how good the house is going to smell in the morning!“
“I was a customer at Sidecar Coffee Shop a bit over 2 months ago when I was taking a 3-day vacation there. I was a dine-in customer and needed to get some work done. My coffee tasted great and the atmosphere was so relaxing that I got completely absorbed in my work and I'm still recalling what a great experience I had. They made my work projection my laptop way less strenuous just because of the incredible ambience and a great brew.“

“Sidecar on the hill always has the best "vibes" of the cedar falls coffee shops. Service is almost always fast and friendly. Coffee is pretty good, I wouldn't say it's exceptional high end coffee, but way better than any sort of chain place. 100% my go-to when in town“
“Visiting from Tampa, Florida. A colleague said this was the best coffee in town. I asked if they could make my favorite cuban cafe con leche, and it was perfectly made. The scrambled egg and goat cheese turnover was fabulous. I took a cherry pastry to go with another cup of cafe con leche. Well done!!“
