“I had the pleasure of eating at Flavors of India for the first time this afternoon. I am incredibly impressed! The food was absolutely delicious! The entire meal, including Samosas with mint and tamarind sauce, chicken tikka masala and dessert was superb. Plenty of seating, inviting atmosphere, friendly & polite service, extremely clean, received hot food in timely manner plus the music was fun and interesting. I completely recommend this restaurant! ♡“

Went last night to celebrate a birthday and I spent more time waiting for my beer than being able to sit down and enjoy my time. 10+ minute wait for a beer with only 5 People around the bar is pretty ridiculous. Needless to say I was pretty upset by the end of the night.“

“I cannot recommend Exotic Thai enough... especially for their DELICIOUS red curry (I get mine with chicken), friendly staff, and beautiful setting. Their red curry is comfort food in a bowl, with their M-F lunch special being a perfect portion including soup & salad. Give it a try!“

“My friend and I came out to enjoy a nice evening in the Village and decided to stop by Brew for a bite. We were greeted by a young lady named Kaitlin, who took care of us from start to finish. She was friendly, sharp, and just the right amount of sassy to keep things fun.

She handled our table (and what looked like half the restaurant) with ease — quick, attentive, and on point the whole time. The other staff seemed solid too, but Kaitlin really stood out. She made the experience.

Highly recommend asking for her next time you’re in. We’ll definitely be back.“

“When we were driving through Iowa, we were told we had to have a maid-rite. So we did, this restaurant was in a convenient location for us. We loved the doner atmosphere, and we were surprised they have a lot of different choices. We ordered the Cheese-Rite and the Maid-rite chili shoe. The order came out quick, hot, and tasted good. Next time, I will need to try an appetizer and a shake cause they looked good.“

“Loved this place! The pizza was phenomenal! We ordered the taco pizza and the all meat pizza. Also had the garlic cheesesticks.
Owner gave my daughter pizza dough to play with while we waited for our order. She loved it!
My daughter also wanted quarters for the gumball machine so she went up to get change for a dollar, the owner just gave her quarters and said to keep the dollar.
Pizza came out fast and hot. I usually don't like taco pizza but this one actually tasted like a taco! They forgot to add the chips so they apologized and brought some out as soon as they could. All meat pizza was just so amazing! We were stuffed and took leftovers home. My daughter ate most of the garlic cheesesticks! This is definitely a place to go to if your are looking for genuine itallian pizza!“

It was not too dry, but not juicy taste it better once I added salt wish they had more site options for people with diabetes. I tried the ranch that came with my son’s chicken tenders, the ranch is really good. Their ranch reminds me of Dairy Queen‘s ranch.“

“We love HuHot and have been customers for years. But the Davenport location has been declining recently. Today they sat us at a dirty table. Told them we didn't need rice and they brought it anyway. Had to ask for silverware. The food stations were a mess with food everywhere including all over the floor. The person refilling food was not wearing gloves and using her hands to rake food out of the containers. The grill was good but just overall it feels like it is losing some cleanliness and personality.“

“Came here two days in a row for dinner for the family! I've lived in the area for a few years now and have tried several of the Chinese restaurants and this one is definitely my new go to. Their egg rolls are actual egg rolls, most Ive received from other restaurants are more like tiny fried spring rolls. We got the dinner for 4 both times and everything has been delicious! I will say the fried rice wasn't the best I've had but not bad. Food is always waiting on me even though I'm there early, staff is always kind and helpful. Can't wait to go back!“

My mom said best hot ham and cheese she ever eaten (she is 74) My husband says the best meatball he has ever eaten (56 years of meatball sandwiches) My grandson loves the spaghetti and trust me, he is 6 and does not eat many things. As for me, the gondi is soooooo good. Treat yourself to a piece of baklava while you are there because it is awesome! This is a new regular spot for all of us and we all grew up with Avanti, but I love your food much more. I can not express the friendliness and quality of the food. A wonderful atmosphere!“

The chicken fried rice is nicely seasoned and plentiful. China Cafe is a great, affordable, non-corporate-chain sot to get good food.“

“We had lunch at this location after having a bad experience at the Elmore location after the general manager offered to make up the bad experience to us. I’m glad we gave them a second chance. Michelle our waitress was fantastic. She was also working as the hostess of that moment and also was very attentive even though she was the only one in that area. I will be visiting this location again unfortunately unfortunately the original visit we had at Elmore was not good, but at least I know we can come here and get treated well and also the food was good.“

“Stopped at this Applebee's on Elmore after a day of shopping. My steak was amazing so tender and flavorful! The service was great, manager even came out to ask us how everything was. Nice atmosphere at dinner time. My youngest daughter even asked if we can come back every weekend! Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!“

“My, how I have missed this place! I came back to Iowa to visit my parents and we decided to have lunch at Hungry Hobo. I pigged out a bit because I haven't been to one ever since I moved away. My chicken sandwich was GREAT! ...and I loved my waffle fries. ...but the BIG winner (in my mind) was the delicious chicken rice soup. FANTASTIC! It was great visiting again and Hungry Hobo was one of my trip highlights!“

“We just revisited after several years and were pleased to see the expansion and outdoor patio. For us, the service was great for a special event that was held on the patio and in the back annex. We hosted about 40 people very affordably and would do it again.“

“We came this past Sunday, 9/29, for our son's 10th birthday and it was fantastic. Food was hot and fresh, our fries stayed filled and she made sure to bring extra campfire sauce (the b-day boy's favorite!) I wish I would've gotten our server's name, she was tall, skinny, her makeup was flawless and had a leopard print headband and phone case. She was SO SWEET!! Very attentive, she engaged not only with us but our son too. She made sure we had everything we needed and even got all the other servers to come over and sing to our son for his b-day. He was so excited and even got a Polaroid to take home of him and his b-day sundae. I just wanted to make sure they know what a gem they have in this waitress b/c she was absolutely awesome. Thank you so much for making our son's day so special!“
