“Had my family of 7 in last night to eat. My wife and I chose the "special" fish and chips for close to 12.00 and we each had the salad bar. After getting served our food we were extremely disappointed when what we thought would be fish and chips instead was air fried fish nuggets and a half a handful of fries. The fish was over done and pathetic. I've had better nuggets at McDonalds. As a business I would have never put a product like that out to any customer. it was so bad that I didn't even have to say a word to our waitress when cashing out our bill over over 100.00$ when she asked how the fish and chips were. She tell by my look she understood. I've never had bad service or bad food but tonight was a disappointment on the food side. I would be embarrassed as a owner.“

“I can honestly say I had the best experience there last night. I ordered the brookie they have, a spinach feta stuffed bread, and a sausage and mushroom pizza. I walked in the door, no sooner had I opened it I heard a "I'll be right with you." The worked finished up the order he was making and came right to the counter. Asked me if I was there for a pick up or if I was placing an order. I gave him my name. He was so courteous. Asked if I needed plates napkins etc. told me about the app where I could earn free food. If I could give more stars I would!If you're in the mood for pizza or wings or a sandwich I highly recommend coming here!P.s thank you for the extra Parmesan packets!

“Pizza is always perfect . Black owned business that is very hardworking and accommodating. Cheaper than what it should be in my opinion. “SMALL place but definitely some of the best pizza I have eaten. Garden Pizza is my pick but you can’t go wrong with any of them. The calzones are pretty big as well. The staff are always cranking out food every time I order. The owner also puts a lot time into doing cancer fundraiser year round. He is definitely involved in the community.“

(I thought the dough would rise) We called and talked to them they said bring it back and gave us a new one, also told us to pick 2 sides from the case. Great customer service.“

My grandma said the staff that took care of them were so welcoming and extremely friendly. “My friend from Knoxville, IL told me to check out your food, especially your fabulous gyros. I was in the QC visiting from Galesburg and I stopped in for dinner with my sister. We started eating our gryos and kept saying, "OMG" on repeat. We were both blown away; best gryos we have ever had, and the rice was amazing too. We will definitely be back and tell everyone else how great the good and service is. I highly recommend.“

Just tried ordering lasagna for our family Christmas this weekend and the woman rudely tells me to “HANG ON A MINUTE!” So I hold, she picks back up and there’s another line ringing in the background and I hear her say, “I can’t do this right now!” And hangs up on me. “My daughter and I went to HJ and we're pleasantly surprised. We had stopped going bc of quality, portion size and cost. Today was a completely different experience. “Wish we lived closer to become a “Regular” here! We stopped in during a Hawkeye football game with our kids, and were immediately greeted by fun and friendly staff and also quickly welcomed by the other customers. Love that you can get an ice cold bucket of beer and that there are options for sitting either inside or outside on the patio. Not sure what their secret is for such amazing pizza, but it was delicious! We got a large 1/2 BLT, 1/2 Big Marv - strongly recommend them both. Our family has always liked BLT, which was great! The Marv’s pickles remind me of home made ones, and they were diced perfectly and to die for. (I think we may have found our new family favorite!) The pizza not only had tasty fresh toppings, but they also must have a secret recipe or way of baking their pizzas - because there was something special about the crust…oh my word, the crust was soooo good! Kids also had the wings, and salads and sandwiches - everything was amazing! Definitely recommend stopping by if you are anywhere near MVF - being right across from the fairgrounds makes it a perfect stop before any of their events, and so easy to find! The staff was very attentive and kept our drinks full, and checked on us often during our visit. There were drink specials, prizes and give always during the game, and our daughter walked away with a great Hawkeye basket! We will definitely be back!“

“I really like the product but not the store on 53rd in Davenport. Iowa. The manager assured me it would take 8-9 mins to make my order and he would bring it out to my car right outside their door. I was the only order being made at 1:12 pm. I went in at 12 mins and the manager said it would be another couple mins with no explanation and he promised to bring my order out to my car. At 22 mins I went back in and no one else had placed an order in all that time. The manager would not even come out to talk to me. He made a young man in the back come out and finally give me my order. No apology or explanation given. I will drive to another location next time.“

“While visiting my daughter place we ordered pizza from Pizza Hut. I decided to order the big New Yorker, but instead of pepperoni we decided on chicken and bacon. Man, the pizza was hot, great delivery timing, and it was delicious. Everyone agreed it tasted different than any other pizza we have ordered from there. And it was really big.“

“What a great spot! Met two friends for a couple beers and pizza. The patio was perfect. Got two different beers and a 12” pizza. All three were delicious. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Hope to go back soon. The inside is cozy and welcoming but plan to enjoy the late summer weather on the patio.“
