“8/25/24 tonight i am giving them a 1 star. waited 2.5 hr for delivery. was told driver went wrong address. Asked driver and he said different story,my calzone was cold ,mushrooms were cold,wifes alfredo was kinda warm. Normally very happy with them but tonight not good. called twice about order kid on phone said order was out,well 40 mins later still no delivery. VERY UNHAPPY!!!!!!“

“We opted to pick up pizza on our way back to our hotel room vs delivery (which I thought would be a quicker option). Our pizza and bread time was 30 minutes which turned into a little longer - I think it was just a busy night.
We ordered the stuffed crust for the first time and it was great! We ordered the spinach and feta bread which looked overcooked but it tasted great!“

“I’m Chicago born and raised, so yeah—I don’t play about my pizza. Deep dish, tavern-style, Sicilian… I love it all. So when my friends kept talking up Smash Pizza, we decided to try it for Mother’s Day. It’s a cute, smaller spot, so just know you might have to wait or do takeout. But the staff made it worth it—our waitress (purple ponytail, wish I caught her name!) was so warm and helpful with recommendations. We started with the bread plate, and listen…that alone was a win. Fresh bread, olive oil, butter, burrata—honestly didn’t even need the extras, it was that good. Now the pizza. I was a little skeptical because Chicago folks know—we like our crust thin with a little crunch. But we went with their Sicilian style and I’m so glad we did. That crust? Light, airy, crispy…nothing like that chain pizza pan crust. Just done right. We got the Queen, and my son tried the mushroom and fried kale. I don’t even like mushrooms, but that fried kale? So good—crispy, flavorful, perfect texture. Everything tasted fresh. Like, really fresh. Hell, even the water tasted fresh, lbs! All in all, this place is legit. I haven’t had pizza like that in a long time—it really reminded me of home. If you’re thinking about going, just go. It’s worth it.“
