“Almost Famous in Newbo has never disappointed, but my experience today far exceeded anything I could have imagined! I went in with a very specific need--9 bags of the Crunch Berry popcorn mix. I'm attending a conference next week and need to bring a snack that represents where I live. Almost Famous is my go-to and popcorn is much easier to travel with than a case of Busch Light and Casey's pizza! There were no mini bags and no Crunch Berry on hand. The sweet gal working the counter helped me brainstorm alternatives, then suggested I talk to the owner who happened to be there. He said he has some at their production facility a few minutes away if I had time to follow him over there. He took time out of his weekend to help me out AND sent me with a few extra bags for my kids! I'm so thankful for the awesome small businesses and business owners in this community! “I love Culver’s restaurants but was disappointed in the Hiawatha location this evening. We stopped there just because they had Creamy Lemon Crumble for the flavor of the day, but it turned out to be Creamy Vanilla Crumble. We couldn’t taste any lemon, though there was lots of cookie crumble in it.“
