“We went to rolling wok in Grimes for lunch today and left with leftovers for dinner to!!! The food was so delicious, he had pad Thai (top) and I had Pad See Ew. We both got medium spice level, and it was just the perfect level for me bc I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting, the staff was amazing, friendly and informative. “This restaurant notified us, after we ordered online for delivery, that they believed our driver took our order. They called to tell us that before we even had a chance to believe there was a problem, and fully communicated what the issue was. They remade our order and it was delivered less than a half hour after they discovered the issue. Superior customer service. Highly recommend.“

“We were in Des Moines for a soccer tournament and ran across you guys. I was diagnosed with celiac 3 years ago and you guys made hands down the best GF burger and tots I have had in 3 years. That includes better than in n out burger since you guys actually have a bun and they don’t. It’s also the best gf bread I have found in 3 years. I hope to someday make it back again!“

“I have been coming here for many many years! Simon, the owner is absolutely incredible and done such a great job with this restaurant. The customer service is out of this world. But everything from the drinks, the food and dessert you cannot go wrong here. They only take reservations for parties of six or more. It is a very small intimate place. And it is 100% busy! 😁 well most of the time. This is a great local restaurant and whenever someone suggest anything around the area, I say go here!“

“My family and I recently stopped at Smash Park in Des Moines on a whim for some family fun and food. The atmosphere was laid back and our kids thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor pickle ball courts and the arcade. Food, dessert and drinks were all crowd pleasers! And to go completely over the top, we left our blanket outside and Jerry answered my phone call, went outside to retrieve it from the bench where I left it, and mailed it back to me free of charge. “Quite possibly the best bbq on the planet!! They had lots of gluten free choices.. all meat and sauces are gluten free. Although they served the food with 4 huge slices of bread which seems unnecessary and is totally cross contamination. The brisket was melt in your mouth amazing! The garlic Parmesan potatoes were very delicious!“

“This is our first time here and it was amazing! The atmosphere is straight out of the 80s/90s and being a GenX it was awesome! Even the menu was a flash back to the past. The food was phenomenal! Their breakfast potatoes were to die for and I don’t do hash browns usually. Chelsey S was a top of the line server. The only minor complaint was the hostess didn’t know if they served Pepsi or Coke products. Just seemed odd her not knowing. I would hands down recommend this for a breakfast place.“

“We had a wonderful experience at this small Italian pizzeria. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and everything was very clean, including the bathrooms, which I always appreciate. The salad was fresh with crisp, cold lettuce, which was a great start to the meal. We ordered both pizza and pasta, and both were fantastic. The pizza crust was perfectly crisp, just the way it should be. The pasta was outstanding! Honestly the best chicken Alfredo I’ve ever had. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce was rich, cheesy and delicious. You can really tell they take pride in their food and their restaurant. We’ll definitely be back!“

“I want to give a shout out to Early Birds restaurant in West Des Moines. Kevin was a fantastic bartender. First time I have been here. The food was amazing. I love the atmosphere. The whole concept is great. The menu… too many things to choose from. I got the Cinnamon roll French toast. Delicious. And the Hashbrown holes delicious. It was great to get an appetizer before my French toast. I have to give a shout out to Kevin as he knows everything on the menu plus he has great suggestions for drinks from the bar!
