Friendly and mostly really delicious. A good selection of beers (including local Iowa brews), warm bread, and a varied menu made this a perfect place for dinner. Tammy, my server, was friendly and detail-oriented. The food came quickly... but not so fast that I felt rushed. The ribs, as promised, were fall-off-the-bones tender. My only beefs? Only 1 olive in the Greek salad. And the BBQ sauce on the ribs was way too thickly applied and cloyingly sweet. Wiped some off and savored...read full review
The Peppertree has the most amazing food I have ever tasted, and that includes the fancy restaurants in Las Vegas and Chicago. Their ribeye was absolutely perfect, melt in your mouth tender.

Pretty good place for a valentine dinner. Had the Alfredo pasta which was good, my wife had the ribeye with shrimp which she said was fantastic. Choices of soup weren’t that great though and pricing was quite a ways up there. Staff was very courteous even when they were packed to the brim with people. Overall a good place to eat.
