“There were very few customers there when we came for dinner so we got very diligent and kind service from multiple servers. I had to mark the atmosphere down one as I had to kick aside a piece of dropped lettuce from my path getting into our booth, depositing it about a foot from a dropped plastic wrapper for a straw next to another table. It made me feel things were a little unsanitary. Right when we were about to order food to eat.

The servers were rolling silverware when those things were on the floor next to them. I understand they can't sweep and vacuum all the time, and we came after the dinner rush, but I think it would be wise for one person to go around the dining area and pick up obvious things like that off the floor, after meal rushes, while the other person rolls silverware, etc. I say this as a former store owner and it is something I would have advised my employees to do after a big rush: 1 work on straightening and picking up while maybe the other work on prepping new product to go out, etc.

The service and food were fabulous. And we will greatly enjoy our take home muffins, too. It was the feel good, relaxing, hearty meal experience our souls needed after stressful times. And we chose to go to Perkins because we felt we could count on having that enjoyable pass time there.”

“Dunkin Donuts is where it's at. Love the weekend service at the Marshalltown location. The girls are great. They spoil my dog rotten with generous pup cups when he comes through. The breakfast sandwiches are always hot, delicious and made with care (take a lesson McDonald's). I do app ordering and pick up through the drive through. So convenient. Coffee is superior to Starbucks and Scooter's and the sugar free coffee options are great. Would love for them to offer some sugar free syrups but I can't complain!”

“We had the kindest most lovely host, medium black hair, reddish highlights. complimented my madoka magica shirt and asked to be friends, I would have said yes but unfortunately the age gap was just too much for the both of us. Food was pretty good, liked the wings. Thank you very sweet host, I hope you make the friends you deserve. 🩷

On another note: they seem to be understaffed, the hosts and waiters are trying their best, even if they can be forgetful, they have long days like you do. be kind to them.”

“Food was just fine, ordering kiosk is a pain and so cool in the building we could see our breath..To cold to eat there so we went across the street and ate in the lobby of a local hotel.”
