“I hosted my husband's 50th birthday party at the Station, and their back room was having the Nightmare on Ingersol, so they had some tables reserved for us. We ended up with more than the tables would hold, and they did an amazing job of getting to people quickly, and made the night great, from the 8 year old, to the birthday boy with some people getting food, and getting drinks to everyone. “When we entered seated quickly, waitress was friendly, helping me pick out a delicious margarita. Was served fresh chips and salsa. My seafood chimichanga platter with beans and rice was AMAZING! I eat ALL of it. If I wasn’t in public I’d undone my top button. The free shot after our meal was a pleasant surprise! The waitress DID check on us often. “Stopped in for a bite to eat with some co-workers. The atmosphere was very welcoming, an at home sit down kind of place to watch sports TV. The theme through out the bar was baseball for the most part. I got a bacon burger with loaded fries, it was very delicious. If I'm back in the area I will definitely go again! The staff were very respectful and helpful for sure.“

“The owner was so accommodating!! It was my husband’s son’s bday. We were able to have all 7 of us a nice large table, the service was great and the food was good. The only reason for 4 star on atmosphere is because when the iowa women’s basketball ball game on the sound was turned up. We were sitting under a tv. Way too loud. I plan to go back sometime soon!!“

“Genevieve is the literal best server I’ve ever had in my entire life. She was so efficient and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks and so friendly and welcoming while my husband and I were so unfamiliar with the menu. “Kind of a dive bar type of place with a great menu with plenty of options to choose from. My wife got a steak dinner while I went for more traditional bar food with traditional breaded chicken wings, fried cheese curds, & beer. It all was very good! Our server was friendly & attentive even though it was pretty busy & she was covering a bunch of tables.“

“I am meet up with friends for lunch. We were a large group, the staff was very accommodating and we had great service. Food was good and came out quickly. Even with two large groups, there at the same time. Restaurant was clean and had a great smell of freshed popped caramel corn. Which you could help yourself too.“

“A great location and space for all Bear's fans. And even if you are not a Bear's fan, you will enjoy hanging out in this cozy sliver of Chicago here in Des Moines. I have never had a bad time in my visits and you can get all the classic Chicago beers and drinks you can think of!“

“It definitely has changed from when I have been there years ago, but it's definitely for the better. Whe. You walk in its nice and open on the right to have conversations you can hear and pool tables on the right. It now has a jukebox (it's what I still call it) and no longer a stage. You can tell that business is not as busy since the changes, hopefully it picks back up for whoever the brave bar owner is. The bar staff ,she was happy,honest and just plain people's, with drinks with perfect mixtures, that make you feel relaxed and at home.“

“I was treated to lunch for my birthday today with my brother and longtime family friend. I enjoyed the Cuban Sandwich with fries very much and it was quite delicious. Our waitress was respectful and helpful with accommodations for one of our orders and checked in on us to make sure our dining experience was enjoyable. We were allowed to sit wherever we wanted and it was quite spacious and clean.“

“Looking for a night out without going downtown or west Glenn? This is the place. Karaoke on Tuesday, trivia on Wednesday. Lots of regulars including myself. We don’t bite and love a good time. Unlike other places, you won’t get weird looks for being new here. 4 Pool tables, 2 dart boards, 3 slot machines with Ridgemont tickets (each worth a dollar at the bar). It’s a good sized place so you can find your own area or chat with a new friend. I’m an honest guy, worst thing about this place is the urbandale and Windsor heights cops linger because they smell a good time. Just get a ride if you have too much fun.“

“Great Time! This was our first visit for a bar with Karaoke. Amazing experience, more than friendly staff, we had a blast. Small, the table by the pool table gets a little crowded, but it wasn't too bad. Will definitely visit again!!!!Parking: Strip mall parking, gets full fast“

“Some of these people rating this bar must have mental issues. There nothing wrong with the establishment or the bartenders. They have a friendly atmosphere phenomenal service. If you have a problem here it's a problem with you, not them.“

“Went here for a bachelor party and what a great time it was. Bartenders were great. The atmosphere was great. We had so much fun that we got to call after we left to make sure that the tip was right since it was a bit high lol. If you want to have a good time, check this place out.“

“I'm not sure why this place is flagged as closed. Could be a possible name change or new ownership? Anyway, it was a great experience and glad it's open! They had your typical full bar, bottles of crisp domestics, and a handful of beers on tap. Including a rotating seasonal beer and this time of year it was Shiner Cheer! It is cash only, but no worries there, as they do offer an ATM in the back. We had such a great time making conversation with some of the friendly regulars and having a couple rounds we decided it was probably a good idea to get some food in our stomachs. They had build your own pizzas with about every topping you would expect and also 4 specialty pizzas. We chose the Cheeseburger and it did not disappoint. It came out PERFECT with one pickle slice per square. I'll admit I didn't expect much from a dive bar, and was thoroughly impressed. Definitely will return!“

“Wellmans on Ingersoll reminds me of the TV show Cheers.."Where Everybody Knows Your Name"?. Ive seen people come in, grab their menus and seat themselves. The staff there to me arent coworkers, they're truly family! Sometimes I believe they having more fun than the dam customers!?“

“Mojo's is always decent - the drinks are good and the bartenders are friendly and know what they are doing. The music is a little loud for my taste, but no louder than at other bars in the area. There is never a big crowd so usually always plenty of room for your group to spread out.“

“We found this place by accident and glad we did. Food was delicious, service was awesome, atmosphere was great! Lots of TVs and baseball memorabilia on the wall. Kaitlyn was an excellent waitress/bartender; she really knows her stuff! We had questions about beers and after dinner drinks and she was well prepared with answers, knew what we wanted and with her bartender experience, she did not disappoint.We got the Southwest Eggrols for starters, I got the Cowboy Burger with crinkle fries and he got the Chicken Quesadilla. We didn't have anything bad to say about our visit today. We will be back!Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is out front with lots of room for Handicap equipped vehicle loading/unloading of wheelchair equipment.“
