“My lunch today at Saints Pub in Waukee, with two dear friends, was truly wonderful. My blackened salmon was tender and fabulous, and our server, Gerardo, was very helpful and attentive. Being able to relax on the patio on such a beautiful day was the cherry on top. We'll definitely be back!“
“The owner is an absolute saint, he is so nice and a great human being! However, the bartender Megan Hampton is honestly the worst human being I’ve ever met in my life. She was rude to me the second I walked into the bar, then she screamed at me, I went to another bar, and the bartender said Megan did the exact same thing to her and her boyfriend. She openly talks about using cocaine and other inappropriate talk around the bar. She is single-handedly ruining the reputation and good name of Poncho. If you don’t believe me, sit at the bar when Megan is working and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.“
“They've really tried to change in the last 5 years or so. They offer daily special meals like steak night (mondays) and taco night (tuesdays). The steaks are legit some of the best I've ever had. Served with very well seasoned grilled onions and mushrooms.

“My Fiancé and I are currently in the process of buying a house in Van Meter. We have stopped at 5th Quarter a few times already and each time it’s been great! Great service, amazing food, and on top of that, good food and drink selection! Visiting 5th Quarter has made us very excited to move our lives into this community!:)“

“It's a nice little neighborhood sports bar! Food is delicious and the staff has always been absolutely the best.
Kid-friendliness: The staff has always been so good with my daughter who loves to chit chat about what's going on with her and they are so warm and welcoming.“

“This place has been a home away from home. NO other bar compares for a place for respite and a moment away from the hectic American lifestyle that is constantly thrown at us from everywhere! They embrace every need and meet you where you want to be. By chatting at the table or reading the room to give you space. And the food is on point every single time, whether an appetizer or meal with the family the food is always fully enjoyed and appreciated leaving everyone satisfied and happy to relax and enjoy the rest of the day! “I arranged for my team to come in for a dual retirement party today and it was so much fun! I was able to talk to them and have food ready when we arrived. It was only $30/pp and that included shoes, the bowing, and a buffet that they kept on top of refilling plus unlimited pitchers of soda! They were so easy to work with. The food was great (get the cheese curds) and the staff was friendly. Extra shout out for a well kept and clean facility! We will be back :)“

“Ate here a couple of weeks back on a Friday night. Have experienced bad service and mediocre food from other locations, decided to give Applebee's one more shot. Did not disappoint. From the fresh salad to the entree, everything was great. Will definitely be back.“

“I ordered A cup of soup and a side salad. I was told that the soup was a brothy soup and wouldn't have any type of thickener in it. Since I'm gluten free, that's what I needed. Unfortunately, when the cup of soup came it was not brothy. It was a thick soup. One of the people that I was with ordered some type of salmon I believe it was, it was so spicy she couldn't eat it. I didn't think the food was anything fantastic. The service was good in the atmosphere was good.“

“A really great place! The host Jillian was really amazing and accommodating when it was super busy and got us a table asap!!! The food was great as always I’ve been here multiple times. Service is great as usual Nicole was my server and she was great and super kind. Over all everything was amazing kids loved it adults loved it 10/10.“
