“First & only visit. This is a nice little ice cream parlor. Very clean & light & bright. Expensive. A root beer float and a waffle cone for over $13.00 They discontinued the scotcheroo shake, which was the reason we went in the 1st place....the famous scotcheroo shake. My husband can't navigate the State Fair, which apparently is where their scotcheroo shake became famous. Then they discontinued it? Even though we live a couple of hours away, we go that direction often. If they bring back the scotcheroo shake we will probably make an effort to get there otherwise no.”

“my daughter and I stumbled upon this neat place today. she has the classic burger with a side of fresh fruit and she loved it. I had the grinder with a side of amazing tomato bisque soup. we shared some tasty chicken loaded nachos and will definitely be making the 45 minute drive again very soon. our waitress was a lovely lady named Tatum(I cannot remember how your name is spelled,I'm so sorry). she was rocking the bar and taking orders all by herself. she constantly made sure we were doing ok. 10/10🤟”

“Great place to get your tea or protein shake!!! The staff are wonderful people, they make you feel welcomed!! If you don't know what to get they will help you out with ideas. Today Jennifer and Sage helped me pick today. My grandkids also love getting their kid sized teas or shakes!!!”

“Visited the Pizza Bar with family after a soccer game. Food was fantastic from multiple appetizers to the pies. Re: the pies -- the pizza was perfect -- and this is coming from a NYr. Great selection of brews. Service 5 stars! At the top of our list the next time we visit home. 😍”

“Food could have been better, temperature wise. We only had appetizer combo. But it was good and fresh. We were only one of two tables in the restaurant part so service was sparatic. Then went to game room and had a blast. Great place for date night if ya want to act like kids again for an hour or so!! Lol”

“I had a fantastic experience at the Pleasant Hill Burger King. The staff was extremely pleasant, welcoming, and made the visit enjoyable from the start. We ordered the Eggnormous Burrito, a croissant sandwich, and hash browns, everything was cooked to perfection. The coffee was top notch as well, fresh and flavorful. Overall, a great breakfast and excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

I no i did when i was a kid .IJust wished it was like the old day with ronald and the hambuglar and the frie guys to me it was more of a place back then for familys to go .it seems like its more like a coffee shop now”

“I just went today for the first time….all I can say is thank God I live in Waukee and have to drive to them, otherwise I would be there every day! My experience was amazing. Macaroons being gluten free are an added bonus too. I am using them for my son’s Wedding Rehearsal dessert coming up. 10 out 10 5⭐️ Loved all the options.”

“I had a perfectly made maple syrup latte in this bright, clean and simple coffee shop. I would definitely visit again! The cinnamon baked good I had tasted stale and possibly microwaved, and the other foods in the display case didn’t look good, but the coffee was excellent and the staff were quick and polite. Looked like lots of friendly people, either chatting or working alone or meeting in groups and a nice hang out spot.”
