“We were looking for a relaxed dinner spot when we found Big Dave and Holly's. Our food was delicious and the lady working the front was nice. My husband ordered a Root Beer float to go at the end of dinner, when she found out we were at a hotel in town for the Eagle Fest, she even included a cup with extra Root Beer. ❤️“

“Excellent atmosphere and amazingly prepared food! My husband and I visited here last night, and we both were raving about the food. The salads were fresh and super tasty. The pecan crusted salmon with blueberries was unlike anything we’ve had but in the very best way. Pleasant atmosphere for good conversations and kind staff. We’ll be back often! Great job everyone!“

“Just had a wonderful dinner at Tuggers. My husband had the meatloaf, and I had the rice bowl with seared tuna…fabulous and plenty to bring some home for lunch tomorrow. The vanilla crème brûlée old fashioned and warm apple dumpling cocktails were delicious. Our son had a burger and fries and had room for the fried cookie dough, or thought he did. He revived 3 large pieces along with a glass of milk (nice touch!). The service was fantastic, and our meal arrived quickly. Would highly recommend!“

“Food was amazing. Great & friendly staff. We were in and out in about 30-40 minutes and they were super busy but we got a table right away. Prices are great for the servings you get. Will definitely be coming back now that I know their family friendly (first time at this place so wasn't sure what to expect)“

“The location of this establishment is not inviting or warm. The parking lot had enough vehicles in it that something was extremely wrong or right. It turned out to be right. Welcomed as soon as we walked in. Sat at the bar and greeted by the bartender who turned out to be the manager. She introduced us to the owner. The beer selection on tap was ample. Speaking of ample, the capacity of this restaurant is 450. Balconies, huge pool table room as well as plenty of seating. The food was good. I wouldn't order the cod I had again. It was tasty but also greasy. My wife stated her food was good.\nWould go back again.“

“I like to order Belgian Waffles on Sunday, with a side of scrambled eggs! It normally comes with meat. They have been great about letting me switch that out tho. The price of eggs may have been the one thing that has come down 🙂 I call in my order, and pick up in 15 minutes. I really like that there is one in Bettendorf now! Don’t have to wait 30-45 minutes to get in. The menu has a great variety. They have crepes! I used to go to a place in Chicago with my Mom and sister, 30 years ago; called Magic Pan- their specialty was crepes! Yum! I love this place!“

“Stopped in after a long night at band practice. We all just wanted to quick grab a drink and some grub before heading off to our homes. Got some amazing wings, burgers, a hot roast beef sandwich and French dip. Food and service was spot on. Our quick stop kept us there for about 2 hours enjoying our food and the hospitality of our servers. Definitely going to start making Vally Inn a regular stop.“

“Haven't been in awhile. Service was normal, food was timely and as expected and drinks. I would say they have been consistent over the years, food good for price. Happy hour starts at 8.

“The morning staff is so amazing! Such friendly faces. Always smiling. The bartender and morning cook are such sweethearts! Very pleased and will be back! The cook came out to make sure everything was tasting good and held conversation. Such sweet staff!“
