“I went to Kalona as a tourist. As a vegetarian, I usually get the veggie patty, which this location, regrettably, did not have available. However, one of the employees heard that I was looking for some Amish settlements, and she gave me directions. Since I had to go on dirt roads with few road signs, I did not get where I was hoping. After about 1.5h, I returned to the same Subway restaurant to use their facilities. The employee asked me if I found what I was looking for. And when I told her that I couldn't find the settlements, she said that it was the end of her shift and told me to follow her car. That was an amazing and unexpected customer service.
