“This is the cutest quaint shop in NewBo! The owner and staff are fabulous and are friendly and very very talented. Their coffee blends are to die for! I have been going back to get grounds to take home because I go through them so fast. The flowers are simply gorgeous. Please remember them when you shop local.“
“When visiting from out of town this was the first cafe that popped up and it did not disappoint. The latte was very well made and their iced vanilla latte was also really good and the service was really great. The baristas are very good at their job. The cost is about what you'd expect from a coffee shop and for a small latte and an iced vanilla latte it was about $9 before tip. It is a cute little shop and would suggest it any day. I will definitely be back.“
“I don’t give five stars unless everything is perfect and the service is good. Good service is so hard to find anymore. Our server was amazing! We didn’t have to wait for anything and he was always checking on us and super nice. This was our first time here and I loved it. We all ordered breakfast and it was amazing. Also got chips and queso which were some of the best chips in town! Ordered a horchata latte which was amzing and the ozzy bfast skillet. The skillet was super good! My bf ordered the biscuits and gravy which was also super good.“
“We rented a pontoon boat for the day, and they were really great in orienting to the boat and the lake. They let us load the boat before putting the boat in the water. We called when we were about 15 minutes away, and they were there to get the boat. They let us dock and get our stuff out before they loaded the boat to return it to the lodge. They told us to just leave the trash, and they would clean it up. It made for an easy trip with minimal effort. Gas was included.“
“the employees here are the best I've ever found. they go the distance to make you comfortable and always have a smile to brighten your day. the food here is out of this world and coming here sets the tone for the rest of my day. I recommend this place to anymore that can make it here. you won't be disappointed.“
“Great food from great people.Dietary restrictions: Real food with known ingredients, not processed.Parking: Parking surrounding the building on all 4 sides. Don't hesitate to use the Benz or neighboring chiropractors' lot next to Lightworks if in front of Lightworks or along the street is full & the street is very seldom full.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. They love & accommodate kids. Not sure if they have a kids menu, it is a high-quality coffee shop with a somewhat rotating menu of skillfully prepared soups, salads, sandwiches, baked goods, breakfast items, etc.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level & wide door.A wheel chair user would just need help with the door.“
“Happened to be out walking the dog & saw they were open on Saturday. Stopped back afterwards to see what they had. Got some macaroons & cookie. Deliciousness!Had no idea they did breakfast/lunch. Menu looked amazing. I'll be back again to try it out when I have more time!“
“Today we got the raspberry rhubarb with cream cheese bread and the pumpkin chocolate chip muffins and it’s the tastiest pastry we’ve had in a while. It’s perfectly cooked and moist. We have been wanting to stop here for a while and finally got time to. The lady helping was very helpful and informative of her options, I wish I caught your name! Thank you! We loved our morning treats!“
“Called around to a couple restaurants in town yesterday, and Cross Roads came in clutch! Was looking for Thai food, specifically Pad Se Ew and REAL crab rangoons, and both were delivered on! The food tasted so good and you could tell it was fresh. Thank you for the yummy dinner!“
“This is easily the best coffee/cafe here in Iowa. The food is always fresh and amazing. The lattes are consistently great. No burned shots. They make their vanilla and caramel for the lattes IN HOUSE. Don't pass up the vanilla latte! It's run by the sweetest family who are always positive as are their baristas. They'll take the time to explain anything about the menu, you never feel rushed. Please visit this shop and see for yourself. I'm picky and they have always accommodated. They have intolerance options too.“
“I had the fruit salad and brisket sandwich. Both were delicious! The fruit was ripe and fresh cut. We also shared a piece of the chocolate cake between three of us and still had leftovers! It was a super generous helping and very decadent. The atmosphere is quaint and fun, with beautiful light fixtures. The gals serving us were friendly and helpful great job and thank you!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp entrance in the back. I recommend bringing help or calling ahead, as you'll need to maneuver the gift shop area. Totally doable with care, just be aware.“
