“Passing through Iowa City looking for a quick healthy lunch. I found Nodo online so we headed that direction. Right next to the Ace Hardware - I was a little skeptical but it was lunch time! I am so glad we found this place. The food we had was excellent and healthy. The Thai wrap was amazing. Stuffed full of veggie goodness, crunchy peanuts and drizzled with a creamy peanut sauce. I would go back for that again. My husband got the bacon sandwich and kept raving about the amount of bacon and how delicious it was. There is another location that might be more restaurant typical but we grabbed a seat outside and did some people watching while we ate. Great alternative to the fast food chains. WIN!“

“Timing terrible. Ordered ahead on app. Ordered at 11:28 for pickup at 11:45. Took until 11:52 before it was ready. 25 min’s! Imagine sitting in drive-thru for that amount of time. I’ve received slow service from this location before. I guess I’ll lower my expectations and just know that it will take longer to pick up a sandwich here than it does to order Longhorn steak to go. So, nothing wrong with the food just know you’ll have to, unfortunately, wait a long time to get it and plan accordingly.“

“I've visited Heirloom Salad Company many times over the years. For dining in and meeting with friends, there are plenty of seating options. The soups and salads are delicious. Service is fast and friendly. Having a shared space with Java House is a bonus for delicious coffee.“

“Just stopped here, and Jessica did a fantastic job making our sandwiches. I got a veggie, and she made the sandwich the same way I would make it. She also made my entire sandwich before touching my husband’s meat-filled sandwich, which typically I don’t care enough to ask, but the fact that she just instinctively did it was super awesome and very thoughtful. Phenomenal customer service.
